I thought that maybe he was just teasing that the Global Citizen concert in September will be The Greatest Show -- and might even include Keala?

( although Keala was recently interviewed and I think she might be performing in Australia in another show at that time?)



I wondered if Hugh will actually perform in the concert - and do this number ( The Greatest Show).

Hugh Jackman occasionally does narrations for documentaries -- this time on Australia's MEGAFAUNA.

Titled Megafauna: What Killed Australia’s Giants?, the program focuses on the extraordinary
group of animals that once called Australia home. Narrated by actor Hugh Jackman, it airs on
Tuesday 25 June and Tuesday 7 July, and is available on ABC’s iView.

Megafauna, Dr Cadd said, refers to animals that weigh more than 45kg. Australia was once home to
a plethora of megafauna species, what would now be considered giant koalas, echidnas, kangaroos,
lizards. After millions of years on Earth, they disappeared swiftly.

What led to the extinction of these giants has been a source of debate for more than a century in the
scientific community. The documentary brings together scientists from around the world, including
Dr Cadd, to investigate the ancient enigma.

Dr Cadd’s work has helped piece together parts of Australia’s environmental history, including
periods when megafauna roamed the continent.

He didn't break it. He has a mallet finger injury, which is why it's been in a splint for weeks.

Hugh has not visited Australia since his visit in 2021 -- and even longer visiting Gwinganna. I wonder if he's still part owner of the place for physical and spiritual healing?

Thank you for The Son. Reader reviews on IMDB indicate that real life stories abound on the sad tale in the movie and they recommend that it be seen by others. Thanks, too, for signing my copy of the play.

From the movie 'The Son' with Hugh Jackman.
Spoiler alert, Hugh is a dad of a mentally ill son because he was living with his problematic mother only.
He got better after getting "out" of the mental hospital, everything was going for the better.
Then he shot himself in the bathroom with a shotgun the dad got as a gift.

The movie was movie theaters only, and mainly shook me because I once was in a comparable situation with the son. Seeing him kill himself, when I didn't, really made me realize the situation I was back in the day.

It showed how much mental illnesses are underrated in their self-destructive manner, how much they can't be properly understood by someone else, and the lack of help the victims get, mostly when it's a child.

And, to end well on my end, everything is now going really great, got a lot of luck in life and a lot of help from my family, and started getting back in touch with my mother, slowly but surely.

Many popular faces made the effort to admire Gibney, including her previous co-star Deborra-lee Furness and Hugh Jackman.

“You instructed me a whole lot means back when. I will not claim the length of time earlier, however it was a while back,” Jackman, who shared his first on-screen kiss with Gibney in Halifax and said her award was “long past due”, said in a pre-recorded video message.

“You’ve just been excellence and quality objectified since.”

And during a montage of highlights from her incredible, decades-long television career, the 59-year-old New Zealand actress revealed that she was Hollywood hunk Hugh Jackman’s first-ever on-screen kiss.

The Flying Doctors star, who made her breakthrough on Australian television in 1985 with her role in Zoo Family, caught the 55-year-old actor’s lips when they starred together in Halifax FP, a series that premiered in 1994.

“It was kind of awkward and weird, and he didn’t want to kiss me properly and he was like, ‘Well, it feels a little weird.’ Anyway, it worked in a way,” Rebecca said of the historic moment during an interview in her montage clip.

Despite the disappointing review of Hugh’s first on-screen kiss, the 55-year-old Wolverine star took it all with good humor as he subsequently paid a heartwarming tribute to his former co-star.

“Congratulations on your initiation. This is probably long overdue for me,” he said in the video as Rebecca watched from the audience with tears in her eyes.

It was awkward for Hugh because Deborra was a good friend of Rebecca then.

It wasn't just a peck on the lips...

they were going to be intimate at some point.
