Interesting blog -- the marketing of Hugh Jackman "Hugh Jackman for Men and Hugh Jackman for Women"freethoughtblogs.com/lousycanuck/2013/08/22/hugh-jackman-for-men-vs-hugh-jackman-for-women/In the Wolverine character, his appeal to both men and women are probably more closely fused. It would be more interesting if the blogger also looks at his action movie persona versus his musical theatre appeal ... That can get more confusing And what about Hugh Jackman the Villain versus Hugh Jackman the romantic figure ( Blackbeard/Wace versus Leopold)? In Real Steel, he starts as more annoying as a father...then changes to a loving Dad. Very chameleon-like. And then there is Keller the angry Dad versus Jean Valjean the tender father to little Cosette. In The Prestige, he is both villainy and heroic. Check out the longish Feedback section, too. Jo
