So cool how Hugh Jackmans last outing as Wolverine saw him face off against a corporations soulless attempt to recreate a perpetually young Wolverine

One of the few times this deaging tech has ever worked for me

X-24 was supposed to be a metaphor for the dark side of Wolverine - the violent side that he wanted to shed from himself.
Btw, I don't think it was a de-aged HJ. I accidentally saw a photo of Hugh himself having a meal at Apolline (NewOrleans)& did not recognize him at first.

I wasn't too sure it was Hugh at first -- but upon checking the telltale signs ( wears watch on his right wrist/ears) - then I was sure it was him. What made me doubt it at first was because the set photos we earlier saw showed him with a wig as the older Logan. That was one secret from filming that we never knew until the movie was released.

I also remember that during that time when IMDB still had a discussion board -- someone said we would be surprised by the ending which he saw during the test screening. He wouldn't let me know if Logan would eventually die -- until I begged him to share the secret ( and I promised I would not let anyone else know ) and he shared the ending that would leave the world stunned!

A beautiful movie w/c told the story of how an aging warrior eventually seeks the end of a life of violence. It adapts part of the story of a comicbook hero but finds a more meaningful end to his journey. Earned a nomination for its storytelling basis. Exceptional performances!
