Apart from the famous TELLURIDE FESTIVAL in Colorado, it seems the founder also set up other smaller festivals with films shown previously at the mother festival. There is a Telluride-by-the-Sea in New Hampshire with The Front Runner screening on Saturday evening... And there is another one Telluride-at-Dartmouth, which coincidentally is also screening The Front Runner on Saturday! www.thedartmouth.com/article/2018/09/seven-films-to-be-featured-in-telluride-at-dartmouths-33rd-yearSony Pictures seems to be following an excellent strategy to keep the film fresh in people's minds by keeping it a fresh item on the news or entertainment pages...as well as providing film buffs across the country a thinking-piece-of-a-film which will encourage further conversations. Hopefully, the academic community in this New England school will also be excited to discuss not only a filmmaking artistic goals ...but also how what happened 3 decades ago may have a bearing on current political times. And as the month of October segues into early November, it becomes even more relevant as the USA midterm election buzz hits fever pitch! Jo

From Jeff Wells -- news on the popular vote at the Toronto International Film Festival : Interesting discussion on the chances of Green Book winning the Oscar from his usual film-buff readers -- hollywood-elsewhere.com/2018/09/toronto-voters-tumble-for-green-book-whoa/#disqus_threadBtw, PRISONERS was voted as second choice in 2013...but did not get any nominations except for Cinematography. The movie itself, the direction, and the acting performances were all superb, yet the AMPAS did not see those merits Jo

It looks he is starting his media tour ( not necessarily for immediate posting) early...as filming for BAD EDUCATION is right around the corner.

Will there be a Q&A with Hugh Jackman and Jason Reitman ( and maybe screenwriters Matt Bai and Jay Carson)?
