The San Francisco Tryout: HJ's Better Location

It seems the group that put on Hugh's one-man show tryout in sanctuary city SF has lost the Curran theater, so the tour of SOMETHING ROTTEN landed at a different theater farther into the Tenderloin district. As semi-dicey as the area around the Curran was (a couple of us were mildly accosted), the locale of the theater housing ROTTEN lived up to that show's name--and then some. Aside from the unbelievable filth, someone from some the company was even stabbed in the head.

A nice little story from an actress who met Hugh at the stagedoor of the Curran and was inspired by what Hugh said to her...leading her back to the acting profession!
