It's odd that there is so little media about it and she still hasn't tweeted, which is very odd for her. On a different note there is a new Wicked movie rumor. Didn't know where to put it. Here's the article about that: www.empireonline.com/news/story.asp?NID=34565

Thought I'd do a quick update. Kristin has at long last tweeted again(today): I should probably say that it had been worrying me because my son is also suffering from a head injury and it's going to take a long time before he's completely okay so when I heard about her and noticed that she wasn't tweeting or updating her website it struck home for me. Glad she's on the mend.

There is news that "On the 20th Century" will finally get revived although no dates have been set, according to Kristin -- broadwayworld.com/article/Kristin-Chenoweth-Says-Dates-Being-Hammered-Out-for-ON-THE-TWENTIETH-CENTURY-20130326Interesting excerpt -- When asked if Hugh Jackman might star in the musical with her, she responded: "I don't know. I'd love that, but . . . when we did a reading a couple of years ago, he looked at me and said, 'You must do this show. I love it and I love the role, but it's your part.'"I had wondered why he had done the reading for Roundabout, as the part of Oscar is not the central character. Maybe as a favor to KC? Jo

Were you reading the discussion on ATC? www.talkinbroadway.com/allthatchat/d.php?id=2129253First intriguing part - posted by someone : The poster is insinuating that Hugh would not have taken a part where he is not at least the central or main character? And the second part -- re Ian M and Blake Edwards ( Julie Andrews's husband) : Gossip, of course. The ATC'ers are gossiping in the thread. Jo

Yes, I was amused by the part of the title that read, 'Hugh Jackman, and S&M," LOL.
I took his demurral to spring from the notion that she should shine more brightly than others in the show, and he did not want to take anything away from her. Of course, I could be misreading his intention.
The last part, about Julie Andrews, has been a rumor around theater and film circles for decades. Then again, I've found that gay celebs, such as McKellen, tend to think everyone is gay. So who knows--and really, what does it matter?

Maybe I am wrong, but I think he is telling her that this is a great part for her and that she should do it...but that it is not necessarily the same thing for him. I think it was his name that was needed to secure funding and theatre, or at least they don't have to work hard to look for investors.

Ellen Wasn't Ian saying that the person he asked the question to was referring to Blake Edwards & Julie Andrews both being gay? Or did I misinterpret? ETA: Duh! I just reread your post. Nancy
