That was a short shoot ( about 6 weeks).
This is going to be a strong character study type of movie!

Just a rumor --
The Toronto Film Festival in 2019 will take place from :
Hugh has a long break ( September 8 - 30) from his tour schedule. Time to rest up, maybe go to Toronto ( if rumor is true) and do some promo work for Bad Education if it is due out after Toronto?

Per IMDB -- It looks like BAD EDUCATION has been attached to a non-USA film distributor at this point ( not sure if this is an exclusive deal for overseas distribution). Here are the films distributed by this outfit -- www.imdb.com/search/title/?companies=co0603957The USA distributor has not been named. The release date has not been announced either. Let's hope it will make its bow at one of the fall festivals ( late August to September). Jo |

Ugh, this guy again. *eyeroll* He is desperately trying to get attention for himself and to promote his "book" and seems to be upset that nobody reacts and replies to his blathering, and that he isn't involved in any way in the movie. Plus, he seems to be a bit above himself - just look at his other tweets! He believes Trump "needs" him as Secretary of Education. Ahem, yep, sure ..., dream on, Ian! This guy should not be taken seriously, but there might be others more serious who maybe try to start anything against the movie BEFORE they have even seen it. For instance, I remember a pretty silly piece in a local paper from a few months ago.

Yes, the school itself in Roslyn where it happened disavowed anything to do with it. But Frank Tassone did go to jail, so there was a crime that was committed.

Yes, instead of coming to terms with their past and at least waiting until they have seen the movie, they dismissed it as sort of silly comedy or so that makes fun of the incidents that were so painful for some of them.
I don't believe the movie is any kind of that, just as little as The Front Runner is a mere comedy!
