The article states that "political correctness" was not defined to the groups surveyed, so I'm not sure how the percentages given can be considered valid. Too much is dependent upon each person's perception of what has become a catchphrase as well as a political football.
In light of the horrendous violence which has occurred in the U.S. this week, the only thing that matters is that we need to vehemently condemn the hatred and demonization of any group of people whose race, culture or beliefs may be different from our own. My heart aches for the victims and families of the latest savage attack. Cruelty of this magnitude defies comprehension.
