I guess Brit audiences didn't know much about THE BOY FROM OZ and what it meant to Hugh's career in musical theatre!

Many did not expect the show to be a personal retrospective of Hugh Jackman, key points in his life and career told thru the sights and sounds of musical theatre!

Initially, there were quite a number of complaints re the high price of the programme… But it seems after many have seen or heard of the show -- they are now selling out.

Theatre or Musical shows -- you see Brit kids enjoying them a lot.
I once saw an ALWebber musical ( Starlight Express -- my guilty pleasure-- with the stars on roller skates, to represent trains, skating on specially built high tracks around the theatre) -- and in the lobby, I saw a large group of school kids ( boys and girls in their Sunday best) eagerly awaiting to get inside the theatre with who must have been their teachers, the group out on a field trip! They were very well-behaved but chattering and seemed very excited to see the show itself.

She felt compelled to tweet this on social media for the whole world to see  She's a teacher who comes from San Antonio, where the tour ends, save for the Mexican leg! Given her background, maybe she should have researched first before making comments of the sort! |

Not too many in the UK are familiar with THE BOY FROM OZ ...and therefore are not aware of what it means to Hugh Jackman.
