I saw it and tried to post it here ...but it was deleted immediately. Maybe Hugh thought it might be misinterpreted? A few tweets came up chiding him for not following the STAY HOME directive. Some people captured it...but unfortunately, they used it to call his attention to the quarantine directive?
But for all we know - given that NYC is the hotbed of the virus, maybe he decamped the family to their place at the Hamptons, where it might be a safer, saner, and more serene place for isolation and even meditation? Technology will allow him to keep in touch.

Exactly! Doctors advice to go out for a walk and get some fresh air, also to boost your immune system! The German Medical Chamber was against curfews for various reasons! For instance, to avoid cabin fever! People who live alone in apartments might break down psychically, especially mentally unstable people, if they don't go out now and again. I live in the German Federal State with currently the strictest curfews in Germany, but we are still allowed to go out - alone, if you live alone or with partner or family if they all live in the same household - for a walk, to go jogging, to hike etc. As far as I know the same applies to New York.
Actually Hugh was doing all right! Plus, he isn't quarantined. He was at a DESERTED beach in the morning and wanted to swim in the cold water to boost his immune system - and, what's more, he wanted to cheer up his fans, like he wanted to cheer up people with his first hand washing dancing video! "Thanks" to some holier-than-thou people (probably not even true fans) who find fault in everything, he sadly felt the need to delete both videos again and presumably will post only any uber-politically correct stuff. I suppose he and Deb will still go to the beach and walk the dogs, but he won't post anything about it anymore. "Thank you", social media morality police!

Great post luzie!
I believe Paul McCartney, his wife and step-son are self-quarantined in the Hamptons at his home there. Probably safer than England, but his one home there is secluded in East Sussex, west of Rye.

http://instagram.com/p/B-XKWYpDlDy The sight of that white ship with the red cross is very heartwarming. I think a similar ship also sailed into the West Coast. Hugh is looking and sounding so much better here, compared to how somber he looked and sounded in his previous message. Keep safe, Hugh Jo

It started as a song which solidified the project greenlight in that remarkable workshop scene, with an impassioned Hugh singing it despite doctor's orders. Michael Gracey has proclaimed it as his favorite song from THE GREATEST SHOWMAN! And it so happened to be mine, too. It is as anthemic as This Is Me, but more from the perspective of redemption and resolve for the future. Now it's noticeable how many have mentioned that the song FROM NOW ON has become an appropriate musical theme in these difficult days of the virus -- Here's an impressive interpretation by a theatre group!

A community quarantine violation - a downer to the rule enforcement ... But given how people feel now -- a mood lifter! Just like the joyous faces of people seeing the liberating armies enter their towns during World War 2 ( usually seen in movies) I understand the sailing hospital will actually be playing host to NON-COVID19 patients, to alleviate hospitals of patient overload. What a bunch of morons! Here right down the street from where I live is a public park. The police had to disperse a crowd of people picnicking there yesterday (the weather was real nice) and warned them if they came back it would be a $1000 fine for each person!

Spain is the second most devastated country in Europe in terms of the viral infection.
Sports legends and good friends Rafael Nadal and Pau Gasol have organized a fund drive among Spanish athletes ( from many sports fields - tennis, Formula One, football, basketball, golf, etc., where there have been Spanish champions) for a goal of at least Euro 11 million to be donated to the Red Cross in its drive to help alleviate the crisis.

In case you can't get hold of professionally-made masks and need to find one in an emergency --
It looks like home-made masks are now being considered.

Better than nothing and could keep you from getting the virus or giving it to someone else. I have some old masks from work and plan to wear one to the grocery store today, along with gloves.
