What are the possibilities of FILM FESTIVAL appearance ( in competition or for exhibition) ?
Hmmm... Venice is a possibility if the pandemic will allow it around that time?

Tribeca is very early this year! To coincide with Cuomo's big re-inauguration of the NY arts scene -- It can happen - because some films are shown (premiered) way ahead of the theatrical release. Like Bad Education - premiered in Toronto in the hopes that the film will be released in cinemas towards the end of that year ( 2019). But we know what happened there. But if cinema-going is already allowed, then maybe they could even make the film as a major presentation because it is a story that happens in the USA in the near-future. This year will also be the 20th anniversary of the Tribeca filmfest. So, fingers crossed - that you guys can see it ahead of moi Jo

Disappointing News -- it is being released in theaters only on a LIMITED basis ! But the irony that it is being released on IMAX screens when it is being pushed to audiences to use the streaming ALTERNATIVE! Per Box Office Mojo : It seems WB is releasing some films on a Limited basis and some on a Wide release basis. Why is REMINISCENE being relegated to LIMITED RELEASE status? Hope it is because they have not completed negotiations for more screens? Releasing it on IMAX does not mitigate a limited release strategy. Showing it on IMAX is actually proof that it is a BIG SCREEN MOVIE, not a streaming type of movie for its original release! Hope this is tentative -- hopefully, they are still working out future schedules as the pandemic prognosis becomes more positive! Or maybe because the original schedule was scrapped and WB is now looking for the replacement screens for the new date. but -- Hope WB is not simply experimenting with films like REMINISCENCE as it is doing everything to push its streaming service! Based on past announcements --
But if it is originally released only on a LIMITED basis, how many screens would that involve?
It seems that Warner Media is doing everything they can to push their streaming service HB0-MAX ( by not making the film available in many cinemas but only a few, as it is only a Limited release). At the expense of a creative effort like REMINISCENCE??!!
How can REMINISCENCE get any screens when WB's own movie DUNE is already billed for WIDE RELEASE, together with another movie from another studio also for WIDE RELEASE? DUNE is opening on October 1, which is close to a month when HB0-MAX is supposed to drop REMINISCENCE from its streaming service and when it supposedly can return to "full" cinema release! Where will REMINISCENCE get its screens??

We don't have the service ( HB0-MAX) in this country yet. We still have HB0-GO ( I saw Bad Education thru that) -- maybe they will allow it to be streamed in Asia via that streaming facility. Or maybe later - because they are showing the movie in cinemas internationally. I am crossing my fingers that I can get to see it on IMAX. Having read a first draft of the script ( and it being a BlackList choice) -- the movie has hopes for being an excellent creative effort!
Also hope the pandemic crisis has eased up significantly by then...although I am not that optimistic in our country because of the difficulty of getting our vaccine allocations. We are all set - but NO vaccine has arrived (yet)!

Looks like the source is very reliable and authoritative! www.ercboxoffice.com/It is a subscription service, of which is included : Lol - it must have been feminine intuition that led me to zero in on that particular tweeter on the Film Release issue Jo

We may have to expect a deglamorized Hugh Jackman ( as we sometimes see in some of his movies) in REMINISCENCE.

Hugh seems to be wearing some type of prosthetics vocally because he does not sound completely like he usually does in person. He has a great speaking voice especially when he is using his lower register.

He's editor of SCREEN RANT, one of the major film blog sites.
A lot of mentions from film bloggers, known or just starting up.
