SPOILER ALERT*********SPOILER ALERT**********SPOILER ALERT*********SPOILER ALERT
You might be interested to view this clip - this blogger does this kind of analysis for other films.
I understand from someone who has seen it that it does help appreciate the storyline and characterizations better.

Despite its few minor flaws, I truly enjoyed REMINISCENCE. The themes of. love, longing, obsession, hopelessness and societal upheavals were delineated beautifully and hauntingly by writer-director Lisa Joy. The film offers gorgeous visuals (especially in IMAX) and heartbreaking performances by HJ and Rebecca Ferguson. For anyone else who has already seen the movie: Did you notice in the closing credits that the surname of HJ's assistant was short one syllable? It read: "Milg." Odd error.

Warner Bros is stingy with its Director Cuts for the home video release ( BluRay/DVD) -- they famously disallowed a Director's Cut from Darren Aronofsky for THE FOUNTAIN.
REMINISCENCE was originally cut at 2'28" but was edited to reduce it to the "typical" screening time of a little less than 2 hours. I wonder if a Director's Cut from Lisa Joy which restores those 30 minutes or so will give the storyline a more complete storytelling vista? Or if even there is no restoration, a commentary by Lisa Joy may provide the gaps that some people find lacking in the movie in terms of fully appreciating it?

On the possibility that, instead of an error by WB, he no longer wishes his surname to be on public display or in the credits, I would direct you to the closing credits of more recent movies such as Logan, The Front Runner and The Greatest Showman. I believe his name is spelled out in full in those.

I am still stunned after seeing Hughâs new movie. It took my breath away.
This was hands down the worst movie I have ever seen him do. I could write a book on all I found lacking but suffice to say, I find Chappie to be Oscar worthy by comparison.
I think theyâre coming for my Blind Faith HJ Loyalty card đ

Interesting comparison between The Fountain & Reminiscence.
I wonder - will people who have seen and liked The Fountain be more inclined to find Reminiscence more cinema-worthy?

Many have cited the ending as having emotional resonance!
Did you tear up?

Eerie, huh?
People may have dismissed the sci-fi element in the movie, but all I can hear in the public appearances of the New York and other states officials is pointing to climate change as a major contributor to the catastrophe!
