I've now taken the time to read a large sampling of the User Reviews on IMDB -- www.imdb.com/title/tt3272066/reviews?ref_=tt_ql_3Some of those who voted on 8-10 of 10 of the scale have written some very deft observations on the movie and why the film should have been much better appreciated. I will watch the movie again and some of those observations that I have noted will likely make me appreciate the movie even better. I wonder - had the movie not been heavily edited -- it originally clocked at 2 hr 28 min, if I recall right, but was edited to fit in the conventional "around 2 hours" for theatrical screenings - would some of the issues posed by the negative reviews been better addressed. This is why it a full Director's Cut in the home video would be most desirable. But knowing WarnerBros attitude towards that - it is not likely to happen. But back to the iMDB users reviews -- do read a few across the board Jo

I've just checked the imdb audience reviews of REMINISCENCE. Rated below The Son at 5.9...but surprisingly, with a much higher number of raters (62 K). When I read the more recent ratings ( usually by those who saw it on streaming) lately), the individual longform reviews are surprisingly very favorable. www.imdb.com/title/tt3272066/reviews?sort=submissionDate&dir=desc&ratingFilter=0It looks like the unfavorable release strategy and the the critic reviews influenced the early viewers... but as individual viewers on streaming came on stream, there was less bias against the film.
