This was taken during the Tony Awards night held at the Winter Garden Theatre. It will give you an idea of how high you may have to look up if your tickets are in the seats closest to the stage. I think it was just the angle in which the first photo was taken? The host could not help herself - she had to plug Hugh and TMM! At least she recognizes that Hugh is making a major contribution to the return of Broadway. Btw, will there be a CAROLS FOR A CUrE for 2021 - if so, hope they include Hugh and Sutton, maybe singing a playful duet from classic Christmas movies of the past? Jo |

The message on the left ( and the continuation on the other side) is completely focused on Harold Hill! Excellent promotional marquee! And Hugh Jackman is the One! No doubt Marian is the primary secondary character  I don't remember seeing a marquee that is as obvious as this one - it tells the entire story - LOL! And quite patriotic, too, in its choice of colors... and I love how it modernized the show image - maybe it is saying this is a NEW Music Man! Bringing new magic to a classic! Jo |
