Re-reading the original announcement of this show via Hollywood reporter in March 2019 - mostly interviews with Scott Rudin - I thought the artistic spirit laid out for this new revival is what we can expect to see soon. From Rudin -- We can see it in the size of the cast, many of whom have come from other major musicals. A lead and major support cast who are all Tony winners! Hugh Jackman leading that group! The attention to dance not seen in other revivals The sets that we have seen -- authenticity towards the period look. A very strong creative team ( Tony wins & even an EGOT)! A song list inventory of forty dropped songs which can be the source of new musical inspirations. There's much reason to be envisioning a beautiful new/old The Music Man  Jo |

Fun to browse through the social media accounts of the kids in the cast. They recount their NYC experiences (Thankgiving Day Parade/Singing SUNDAY for Sondheim/museum visits/Central Park, etc) and the treats ( from Barry Diller/buying ice cream from a small win on a Jackman lottery ticket/cupcakes from Sutton ) they have been given. They can't talk about TMM though... but here Emily Jewel Hodder ( swing/understudy for Amaryllis) singing a song which I last heard sung by Hugh Jackman http://instagram.com/p/CWegmIoA6xh |

 The boy in front (blue jacket) with a drinks cup is Winthrop (BPajak) and the girl(mustard jacket) on the righthand side (Kayla Teruel) is Amaryllis. Others are swings & understudies. Btw, I am proud to say that Kayla is from Filipino descent. Talented & happy young triple- threats  |
