Do watch them now -- I am not sure if they will not be taken down.

I love this number -- it is my favorite production number in the show! *To me, this musical number is the essence of THE MUSIC MAN, particularly in this revival of the show. It represents how an outsider is able to win the hearts of the young people in the town, through music and dance, and in so doing was the first step in winning the hearts of the entire community ( save a few exceptions). Kudos to Zaks, Carlyle & Jackman and his young dancers! *I love the use of the metaphor of dance to mime the different musical instruments. It is a unique way to show how music can work its magic to entice a group of young people to be involved in a heartwarming & joyful fusing of talents...to form a band! *I love the first glimpse of the development of a sense of harmony, a glimpse of unity...in a place that may have temporarily lost its sense of community *Hugh Jackman is the Pied Piper personified ( in a good sense, not the dark symbolism of the original Pied Piper) - using charisma, music and dance, and a beautiful way with kids to give them a sense of belonging. *I have never seen Hugh dance like this PS: This revival with this kind of production number will be very hard to emulate even at a professional theatre level, let alone at community theatre or school level. Marian The Librarian is a great favorite with the audience -- it elicits the most laughter and wonderment at the agility of the troupe (even the books have acting roles ). It is the courting song of Harold, wooing the reluctant Marian. As a production number, it is actually Hugh Jackman's very own standout number -- as all his triple threat talents are in full display. His comedic acting is seductive and very funny. His singing has a rhythm that can distract the lady he is wooing. And his dance movements are precise, comedic, and distracting ( to Marian). I have looked at different clips of various productions - their courting Harold is either heavy-set, high-pitched, appeal-less, boisterous, good-singers-but-overacts, etc. Somehow, Jackman's Harold Hill sets the right tone of teasing & courting. Plus when Jackman smiles... nobody can beat his nillion dollar smile Jo

Do watch the clips on YouTube itself, for clarity of image.
Do check the thread every now and then as the video owner updates the list.

In some cases the bootlegged videos were uploaded twice - one for Dec 31 and the other for Jan 1.
You may want to see both just to see if there are any slight (only slight, if any) variations.
Again, these can be taken down any time if the TMM producers want to pursue any legal action vs the bootlegger -- so you may want to complete watching them now. You have to be a fee-paying YouTube member to be able to download the clips.

The Double Reprise ( 76 Trombones & Goodnight My Someone) has not been uploaded -- my favorite musical moments in the show. They are the same melody except that Goodnight My Someone is in a slower & waltzy beat. In the show, Harold and Marian singing the superimposed melodies is beautiful - because that is the moment they fully realize they are meant for each other!
You can listen to it in the cast recording.
