The video owner has created a PLAYLIST ( still being completed) of the musical numbers and scenes. I love listening to the cast recording, but I wish "Marian he Librarian" had included some of the quips Hugh's Harold threw in during the latter months of the run such as "Oh, too close, Marian, not here in the library" and when he is way upstage looking at a book title before instantly tossing it aside, "Ooh, biology" or "No pictures" and when he points to an innocent youngster and says, "That boy is very noisy" or "making a lot of noise." Those fun quips upped the delight quotient of what was already the most charming and brilliantly staged and choreographed number in the show.

I guess that is consistent with what Hugh has said that every performance tends to be different, in some ways.
I have also just read that Bob Fosse never agreed to taped shows because he thought theatre must be seen live.

Lol - the unofficial clips are now coming out of the woodwork  Here is another one... but purporting to be the full show -- However -- This clip is a COMPOSITE of 3 shows (all taken in January) -- it is NOT one full show from ONE performance. A bit uneven camera work at the beginning -- but at least it gives you a flavor of the entire show. Maybe watch it as soon as you can... before the possibility that it can be taken down by the internet police  Jo |
