It all started when Shawn Levy directed Real Steel with Hugh Jackman.

Supposedly, Hugh introduced him to Ryan Reynolds.

Shawn & Ryan collaborated on some film projects.

But the beautiful part is that the three guys are also very good friends in real life!

(PS: In Shawn's house up Hudson Valley, a framed art gift from the Jackmans occupy a prominent place in the master bedroom. During the early run of The Music Man, his eldest daughter served as Personal Assistant to HJ).

Hugh has also visited Ryan's New York state place as well as his Manhattan town house, sharing some leisure moments.

And who can forget that photo of the three seemingly having breakfast at Shawn's NYC place, with Hugh looking very forlorn ( almost right after his separation announcement)...and that photo of Hugh with Ryan & Blake on the morning of his most recent birthday walking together on Tribeca.

If there are any filming issues, including vis-a-vis Disney, these three people must be a very formidable team to deal with!

It is amusing that just the sight of the folding chairs with the names of Logan & Wade Wilson on the back was enough to set some convulsion on social media

Hopefully, the first proof of what they are now accomplishing will be the first trailer bound for the Super Bowl ( Feb 11)!

The "Wicked" movie trailer also rumored for that event will certainly face formdiable competition for the hearts of the Super Bowl audience!

When they broke up before Christmas in December, it was said that they would allow a 2-week holiday break from filming.

It is now almost a month ago -- yet, Hugh has not posted anything that indicates he is back in London?

That filming has gone to a standstill ( in defiance of what Disney might be doing that might be destroying the creative essence of this movie?) -- that there are no actors to fill the chairs of the important characters of Logan & Deadpool.

At first, I could not see the relevance of this photo -- if it had been posted when filming was about to begin - then I would have thought that they want to announce to the world that they are about to begin the adventure!!

But at this time -

then maybe there is already some level of agreement on the issues with Disney (even if it is likely Disney which will decide on having a Super Bowl Trailer or not?).

With all that is coming out re this movie --

it's best to take all the rumors, the speculations, the guessworks, the fake news & photos -- with good humor and a grain of salt

I guess the first real test is if and when the first trailer comes out -- supposedly at the Super Bowl on Feb 11!

Will there be a new title?  What would be the billing?  How does the yellow-and-blue costume & cowl of Wolverine really look like? Will it complement the new-strong red of Deadpool's costume?  Lol - the mustard & catsup team 

This is the world of superhero movies!

So, either the issues with Disney's Bob Iger have been resolved... or they were only gossip or rumors from fanboys?

It must be freezing cold for location filming. Hopefully they will be back at Pinewood Studios for the rest of the fllming this winter?

Disney has a longterm lease with Pinewood Studios. That is likely the reason why they are filming in England ( not because Ryan has a Welsh football team). Pinewood has been used for major location filming for many blockbuster movies.

Said in jest -- but given the current Disney/MCU box office disappointments -- and the interest that his return is generating -- it does seem that the return of Wolverine may likely bring back its previous luster & box office glory.

More bleak news re Hugh Jackman's involvement in the movie ( and future XMen-related movies).




We'll see if these rumored conflicts will dissipate or have a resolution or will no longer be conversation pieces...

Presumably, these issues will be settled when the movie is ready for release?? If the July release date can still be assured.
