Not sure where you are getting your stories from DM but they are definitely not in Norfolk! They are in a quarry in Pitstone, I know people in that area that have seen the set.

Will it halt the ongoing filming of the Deadpool-Wolverine movie?

Depending on how long it may take...will the new release date for the movie be reset back to late autumn?

A pity as there seems to be a momentum not only in the filming of the movie but also the heightened interest from the fandom!

If there's a long lull in filming due to industrial action by SAG-AFTRA...

since they may have already filmed a fairly good part of the script ( they started in late May) -- can the other crew or special services ( like CGI/Industrial Magic/),editing, music branch, ADR already start working on the completed filming elements? in effect, do some post-production work while waiting for the industrial action to cease?

The decision to advance the release date to May 2024 must have had some basis ( since the possibility of a strike by WGA & SAG is known)and there may be plans in place so as to be able to meet the new release deadline ?

Question: Are stunt doubles part of SAG-AFTRA?

If not, can they continue filming scenes that require their participation?

Can they film scenes with the doubles ( who are not likely members of SAG )

Can they now work on selected post production stuff for scenes already filmed ( they were supposed to have started filming in late May) - such as some CGI&visual effects/ some editing/ ADR/ music/ whatever is done after actual filming? It could save time - so long as the have already put together a complete production/post production plan. Can they even work on a teaser (not trailer) now?

They know strikes are likely -- so they must have planned many things beforehand. They even advanced the release date.

Let's hope both sides get to an agreement in not too long a time.

Actually, most stunt men are members of SAG/AFTRA so that idea won't work.
