The rating of the film here in the Philippines is R-16, actually better than the rating for LOGAN which was R-17.

I think this is because the only objectionable aspects are violence and language. I imagine there are no scenes depicting nudity and similar type of scenes. I was quite surprised.

I think in a way, expressions like LFG no lnnger shock people. It has become part of daily language.

When even my 70 year old mum who hates violent films (but will watch anything with Hugh Jackman) turns to me as the credits roll with a smile on her face and says "that was fun!" they did something right. She has talked my sister into taking her to see it again next week 😂

Deadpool and Wolverine was probably a 6/10. yeah it was funny and some of the action was cool, but the story felt like it was on the back burner and that they wanted to focus on making the characters seem cool.

they really needed to give you more of a reason to CARE about

Wolverine. They rely so heavily on the fact that it's Hugh Jackman FINALLY (🙄) coming back as Wolverine, that they completely forget to give him a story that's more than saying "everyone he knows died"... like wow most heroes friends and families die, I'm not magically attached.

Some stories then while filming that part of the Wolverine backstory was denied by Disney as "too violent". Better a fuller story on how this variant got to where he is now...than having to endure that Deadpool battalion towards the end .Doubtful of an Oscar screenplay nod.
