A so-called Hugh Jackman Renaissance ( rebirth) has been spawned by Deadpool & Wolverine -- *the infamous but delightful topless image of Wolverine when they defeated Cassandra Nova... and as he walked with Deadpool *the Honda fight scene which was a microcosm of the strong acting ability of Hugh Jackman as seen in his previous dramatic movies (such as Prisoners). Now many young women are using social media to admire many images of Hugh Jackman through the years. declaring their "love" for Wolverine and the actor himself - LOL! But more importantly -- they are now on a fast track of his filmography -- going through his movies over the last 24 years. *Reminiscence is a recent Netflix addition and his romantic scenes with Rebecca F is a focus of attention *But some go back to Kate & Leopold ( which was likely where some of us discovered him a long time ago) *Many are dumbstruck at how good an actor he is - after they see Prisoners or The Prestige. And Logan, of course! *Of course The Greatest Showman is an attraction ... and today the James Corden Crosswalk the Musical is being viewed featuring HuGE Jackman as The Greatest Showman *Comedies like Eddie the Eagle ... and Real Steel... More Wolverine movies - from XMen1 to Days of Future Past ( I wonder if they have discovered his famous cameo from First Class?) Les Miserables continues to be contentious - especially with those whose first love was the stage musical! Not many have discovered the sundry clips from his Broadway musicals ... yet! But I did draw someone's attention to the filmed version of Oklahoma! To be in their shoes - and discovering Hugh Jackman's full display of talent for the first time Jo

^ I don’t get that person’s post. Is that Henry Cavill as Wolverine? Never mind, you must have added that first sentence later. I had to leave and come back to this page.

Wolverine's "Nope!" is so final and so curt and so reflective of his character Btw, I wonder if fans of Robert Downey will come back to see his forthcoming DOOM movies the way many fanboys came back again and again for Deadpool & Wolverine. I think it is the repeat patronage that is still sustaining its continuing box office performance! Can it reach $ 1.4 billion? Or will it likely end its run in the $ 1.3 Billion range? Jo

x.com/i/status/1828739070370910571Note the difference in appeal between Hugh and Ryan ( this was at the UK premiere) -- *Fans are asking for Hugh's autograph *Fans are wearing the Wolverine costumes *Fans are having Wolverine claws signed. Fans love Ryan's Deadpool jokes...but that is it -- they are not interested too much in Ryan the person nor wanting to impersonate Deadpool as their idol. Not surprising that, apart from his more apparent acting superiority, the fans have gravitated towards a Jackman renaissance than showing their love for Ryan! Note that in the video- there were 3 fans dressed in 3 different Wolverine costumes. *One in the yellow & blue *One wearing his white vest & a jacket remininiscent of old XMen movies *One was wearing white dinner clothes and an eye patch - representing the "Patch" Wolverine variant! I would say that the real Wolverine fans are the MALE fans! The female fans are Hugh Jackman fans Jo

If I had seen it 61 times, it would have cost me $915 through Fandango! 🤯 INSANE! 😂

Really cute idea Btw -- are those black stripes on a pink balloon meant to be Hugh's (aka Wolverine) facial wrinkles

The movie's most famous scene is that of Wolverine being stripped to his oiled and naked torso. Didn't realize the universal reactions to that scene was this intense - LOL! Confession time for thousands x.com/oliestevan/status/1858974806424879529
