They are like family now... not just professional co-workers -- so I am also posting this interview here --
An excellent interview and exchange of views by these two people, deeply mired in professional ties and personal relationships.
I think I have a deeper appreciation now of Ryan for how he has learned to grow through admiring someone who has taught him the ropes. Hugh on the other hand, has recognized that Ryan has built his own professional image... and shows his inborn humility when he volunteered that in their work in Deadpool & Wolverine why Ryan's name should take precedence in the billing. A very professional recognition of whose work has had the greatest influence in getting their target met!
Ryan looks to Hugh as an older brother, a role model, and someone whose guidance & friendship he sincerely admires!
I hope they can continue to work together in other projects and that their friendship and bond grow even stronger.

After Origins ( released in 2009)
*Back on Broadway - ended January 2012
*Australia concert - 2015 ( when he sang This Is Me)
So it must have been BackonBway & Australian concerts based on Back On Broadway -- where he did a lot of dance - which made his body feel comfortable handling fight choreography.
He released The Wolverine in July 2013.
He released Logan in early 2017.
So, maybe it was his doing dance training and actual performances for Back On Broadway which helped him tackle the fight scenes more comfortably.

Is he already scouting around where Robin Hood used to roam in Nottingham where Sherwood Forest is?
He is in the wrong direction as Henley on Thames is westward from London.
Maybe he was back for some final reshoots ( Deadpool & Wolverine)...
or visiting family?
