I wonder if this is for their current accomodations ( are they still there?) or for their apartment ( assuming it has already been made habitable after the storm/flood renovations)? I remember some photos of huge trees decorating their place, with photos taken from outside.

I get a kick out of his still waring his VAN HELSING jacket.

Evidence in other photos indicates they're back in their apartment. Must feel good to be home for their holidays. I'm glad.

Maybe the jacket is his lucky clothes? Or maybe he got a dozen of them ;D

They did get one for Les Miserables -- but I have not seen him wearing it.

I always feel uncomfortable with the family photos. Some of them are taken from a bigger distance when Hugh doesn´t know he is photographed (like the one in the shop) and it seems as an invasion into their privacy. If Hugh allows them to take some photos of them outside, then be it but Oscar is obviously bothered by it and even Ava who used to love it, seems really annoyed here. And you say they took photos of their apartment? I think they show to dangerous stalkers how to do it!

No, not of the apartment--just areas outside the building. Agree about Ava's expressions here. Maybe it was a bad day, or perhaps she's maturing enough to realize it's a pain to be followed around all the time.

I don't know if anyone has seen the Parade magazine from this Sunday's paper (the 23rd) but Hugh's on the cover and in it they asked him about his father and he said that Mr. Jackman is in the early stages of Alzheimers. It's very sad to read knowing that he more than likely will continue to get worse. I've been around people with Alzheimers my whole life and I know it's incredibly sad disease and it does terrible things to families. I hope and pray that it's slow going and that he gets the best help that he can get. My prayers go out to Hugh and his family.

I read the article, too, Alicia. My heart breaks for Hugh and his family as they face this long goodbye. Hugh did say that, although his father is having significant memory issues, he has a very happy disposition, which is somewhat of a relief.

Sorry I'm late Alicia, but I too read the article. At first on 60 Minutes, I thought it might be cancer. But at least the article says he still recognizes Hugh and that's a wonderful thin now. He is Hugh's rock and it just reminds me so much of how I felt when I lost my parents. I wonder if he's gong to try to get home more often?

It is nice to know that he can get some peace after that mad promotion tour. Also, I like how typical man Hugh is...a phone in the pocket and I bet he has keys in the other!

Is that Chris Jackman behind Fay Duncan? Only part of the face is visible, but it looks like him.

I think this is a better picture of the old man behind him. His hair is all white ( I remember that Chris's hair was more salt and pepper) -- it's probably Hugh's Dad ?

definitely Hugh's Dad...even the strap that holds his eyeglasses is something his dad always seems to have... and the smile!
I can't imagine Hugh NOT having his Dad there - especially given Chris's health and his workplace ties to the Academy awards!
