Fun Fallon show tonight. Hugh was too mentally exhausted by his promo tour to do the planned Instant Musicals, so they substituted a fun race---I don't want to reveal anything more so as not to spoil it. He may be tired but boy, what energy! He kept things hopping. Cute segment with Fallon's dog Garry, too. Got a wave as Hugh left the stage. Ellen I just watched Hugh on the May 21 Jimmy Fallon episode, aired again tonight, and enjoyed it all over again... Ellen, I noticed that when they were on the cooler scooters and Jimmy was starting to explain what it would involve, Hugh gave a little wave to someone on the front row. No, I was not in the front row, probably about halfway up on the left side. I did get a wave when Hugh left his scooter and was walking toward the doors to the corridor outside the studio.  I just re-watched that segment, too. It was still fun. After the show, my daughter took us backstage for a brief visit including a minute's chat with the "grandpa" in the "Memorial Day parade. Hugh is supposed to be a guest on Kelly and Michael on August 20, 2014. www.interbridge.com/lineups.htmlWill there be a formal announcement for THE RIVER? Or is there something else that Hugh will be involved in? EDIT : We don't get the replay here, so I have no idea if this is a new appearance or a replay based on the guests lineup mentioned. However, Shailene Woodley was in The Fault in Our Stars, another Fox movie, which was released on June 6, 2014 ( 2 weeks after the release of XMEN: Days of Future Past) so there is a possibility that this might be a repeat. On last night's show, Fallon said he and Hugh would be playing a new game, "pool bowling." Sounds kind of meh, at least compared with some of the wild stuff he's done with other guests lately. Hope it'll be fun.
