I can add that: Hugh made good use of Jimmy's couch; he talked about Joan Rivers' funeral, THE RIVER (said there'd be $26 seats--maybe that's standing room?); elaborated on the Al Pacino standing room story with some very funny physical business concerning Deb; and spoke about how Aussies love to travel. But not a word about the Global Citizen mega-concert coming up. Odd, given that he wore that Global Citizen shirt he wore (it could have been tighter!).
Our eyes met for a sec during the commercial, and I was rewarded with a blown kiss and a big smile. Made the shlepping in worth it. I was supposed to be relegated to a way-back stool for those without a "regular" ticket, but I actually ended up in a real seat because of a cancellation. Nice upgrade!
The pool-bowling game was so-so. I much prefer when Hugh gets soaking wet playing that water gun version of War.
I got to chatting with Fallon's parents in the Visitors Center. Lovely, really friendly people.
Almost forgot to mention: Fallon's ratings are going to go through the roof on Monday. I won't reveal who'll be on, but he said that Very Super Star has not done a talk show in 50 years. This should be something.

Such a funny bit! Hugh had the blanket, earphones, laptop, backpack - everything needed to make himself comfortable. He said he'd go stay at another mate's place after Jimmy kicked him out. Nice surprise.

Hugh is such a natural for talk shows - he is game for most everything and his natural charisma wins audiences everytime!

Alma, no, my daughter didn't tell me he'd be back. Could be she didn't know; I think she'd have let me know beforehand if she did. She did tell me they were taping two shows yesterday. Hmmmm, given the unannounced return appearance, tonight's televised show was likely the show taped later last night. Fun surprise.

Update from my daughter: She originally thought they were doing two shows Wednesday, the day Hugh was the major guest. But it turned out that they did only one show Wednesday. They did the double taping yesterday (Thursday). Hugh returned to do that surprise bit on the first of those two shows. What a trouper! Daughter wasn't even sure Jimmy knew about it (I thought he looked truly shocked); she certainly was taken by surprise.
