Wolverine and Nightcrawler! LOL - I forgot, this is supposed to be the Great White Way EDIT: Strange -- the tweet was omitted from his list of tweets and the instagram photo no longer shows up?? Unless he is just correcting an incomplete link re Deb's twitter account which was part of the original message? PS:Alan Cumming tweets about the backstage visit and the photo And the revised tweet from Hugh -- Jo

Of course they could not have forgotten to visit the other star of CABARET, Michelle Williams.
Remember Michelle from DECEPTION?

Not Broadway this time, but London --
A poster from Whatsonstage ( the London theatre message board) wrote his/her impressions of the play --
I guess that was why Hugh felt the same thing about the play.
"Skylight" won't probably be the last one he will try to squeeze into his schedule while filming in nearby Bedford.
Hugh joined Carey briefly as host for the Met Museum Costume Institute Ball...while Bill did voiceover work for Flushed Away ( one of the henchmen of The Toad).

I wonder if Hugh will try to see a lot more of straight plays - as London is arguably the more established venue compared to Broadway when it comes to non-musical theatre productions. It could be excellent preparation for his own stint in THE RIVER, as he observes various acting performances, both for contemporary and for classical theatre.

Judging from his hairstyle, this one looks fairly recent -- but when did he have time to see THE BOOK OF MORMON?
This was just posted --
Chris O'Neill is currently playing Elder Cunningham in The Book of Mormon.

And his Canada Goose outerwear.
Whether Hugh's darting to a benefit concert or attending a performance elsewhere, I'm not surprised anymore that he's able to be here, there and everywhere.

Did Hugh see the new London production of SWEENEY TODD ( with Emma Thompson and opera star Bryn Terfel)? Hugh hardly made it The show is on a limited ( very limited!) engagement -- only 14 performances at the London Colisseum ending April 12, 2015! www.whatsonstage.com/london-theatre/news/emma-thompson-sweeney-todd-photos_37492.htmlIt is a production of the English National Opera. The cast includes former Valjean John Owen Johns...and presumably many opera singers who are with the ENO. I have seen one ENO production at the London Coliseum ( they have a large orchestra pit - for an orchestra that usually accompanies the opera productions) - that was KISMET with Michael Ball ( as Hajj the poet) and Alfie Boe (as the Prince -- excellent singing but completely wooden acting!) and terrible costume design ( it looked like they bought all the blue bath sheets from Marks and Spenser to dress the harem ladies - LOL!). But back to Sweeney Todd - didn't Hugh once say once that Sweeney Todd is one of his dream roles? Jo

I hadn't realized that Philip Quast is also in the cast. He plays the role of Judge Turpin!
Maybe Hugh went to see it primarily to look up his old mate? Remember how Hugh narrated ( Inside the Actors Studio) that it was Philip ( who knew Sondheim, who was a family friend of Oscar Hammerstein) who taught him how to sing SOLILOQUY from Carousel!

Hugh was also seen at the new London staging of A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE --
Sometimes I forget that Hugh is no stranger to London theatre - he spent a year doing OKLAHOMA! at the South Bank and at the West End!

Last night was yet another in a long line of "Better luck next time" responses from the TodayTix lottery for HAMILTON. Would have been especially nice if I'd finally won last night, hmmm? Ellen

That wasn't a class act when you made fun of the live singing in Les Miserables, Michael Cerveris! Hmm...I didn't recognize Michael Cerveris when he is wearing his hair ( or is it faux hair?) - I have only seen him in Sweeney Todd and I am used to seeing him with a bald pate. Wasn't FUN HOME the musical that Hugh said he wouldn't mind doing as a replacement -- and Michael readily asserted he will open the show Jo
