Whew ocjackie! That's marvelous! Okay, that's just too much fun you have planned already. You can't have all this fun without bringing all of us with you. Do you think we'll all fit in your suitcase? ;D I think the only thing missing from your itinerary is "Dinner with Hugh". What a wonderful trip to look forward to! Thanks so much for sharing that! I have an odd dislike of rabbits, and the Easter Bunny severely creeps me out, so hearing Hugh's voice coming out of him could either help me over my phobia or scar me for life. lol

What a fantastic itinerary, Jackie. Give our regards to the koalas (the second-best part of my trip in '06). One guess as to what was the absolute best. Ellen

Just thinking: Since holiday themed movies usually are released in theaters to coincide with the holiday it's about, and then again on DVD (i.e. 'Hop' was released before Easter in 2011 and then on DVD in 2012, and 'Arthur Christmas' was released last Christmas and will be out on DVD this November), do you think they'll try to do the same with this movie? Because the next holiday would be Easter and since Hugh is the Easter Bunny, I was wondering if they would try to release additional merchandise of his character to get people excited to buy it for Easter. I know I'm way over thinking this and this is basically a pointless post (sorry!) but I guess I'm just curious if they'll try to push Hugh's character a little more, and if they do, what will that mean in terms of him promoting it?
- Alicia
P.S. Someone should probably cut my internet access off at 10 pm so I don't do sleepy posts! lol

Maybe Bunnymund will come in chocolate! Ooooh, even better, Hugh in chocolate!... Ah......sorry.....my mind went somewhere there for a moment.
Alicia, you're not the only one who should have her internet access cut off at 10pm ;D!

Hugh . . . in chocolate?? I've been a good girl, I deserve a special, chocolate-covered visit from Bunnymund! ;D But I'd settle for the movie out on Blu-ray/DVD by Easter!

That was such a refreshing interview, droverswoman. So many of his interviews are the same questions over and over and this was very original. I really enjoyed that. Thanks for posting the link!

Jo That was one of the better interviews I've seen. So many interesting questions leading to new insights into the life of Hugh Jackman. It must be such a pleasure for interviewers to talk to someone who is as open and real as Hugh. Sue

Better than most interviews, I'd say. But did you notice they still refer to him as Hugh JackSON at the end? LOL, I have a feeling that will never die.
I was surprised he used the name "Santa Claus" in reference to the mythology important to him as a child. I thought the British and Australians used the term "Father Christmas." Or is that old-fashioned?

Jo, thanks for preserving the interview - it IS one of the better ones, and I was thrilled to find and share it! I love when he shares little details abut his life, and I want to be invited to the Jackman's house for Christmas! ;D
Ellen, I hadn't thought about the Father Christmas thing - that's a good question. Maybe because they live in the US so much, he's gotten into the habit of using Santa Claus?

I'm from England and I find it's the more older folk that still call him "Father Christmas".

I thought the reason for the upsurge in "Santa" might be the pervasive American influence. Interesting to learn the semantic evolution. (I'm likely proceeding on having seen older British movies that employ the term "Father Christmas.") Thanks, all.
