Hugh in the same category as Amanda Palmer?? (Formerly of the Dresden Dolls, and--her bigger claim to fame in this comics-loving household--married to Neil Gaiman.)

The Red Ball - 2012Does this mean Hugh will sing/dance while still in Wolverine mode??? ...or will the film be finished by then? Somehow I can't imagine the Wolvie "look" in combination with his stage persona. More information here: www.redball.com.au/

He has sang at the Red Ball in the past in his film-look-at-the-moment Not too sure, but I think he sang Luck Be A Lady with facial hair. These are from the 2007 event -- I wonder how many songs from the BACK ON BROADWAY he will perform? *The musicals medley would be stunning, but he needs his bevy of dancers for that - so maybe not? *Rock Island from The Music Man ? *Carousel? That would be stunning! *I Got Rhythm or Fever - that should get the audience going ;D *Somewhere Over the Rainbow - that would be resonant with the crowd, if he uses the same backdrop from the movie "Australia" *Or would he reprise the TBFO numbers which would evoke his sellout arena tour in Australia? Another meaningful campaign he has joined -- Hugh Jackmanþ@RealHughJackman Proud to be supporting @everyonematters a global campaign urging us to be more loving to each other. Full details at goo.gl/8mJk5 "My hope for all of us is to find greater spiritual and physical well-being - and to help each other achieve it. May we all play our part truthfully and lovingly - and may all be happy." - Hugh Jackman, Everyone Matters"

Today was the Broadway Cares Flea Market & Auction, and we know how strongly Hugh supports them - especially during the run of BOB! Well, my friend Lisa went to the Flea Market & Auction today, and they auctioned off one of Hugh's vests/undershirts and a poster - which fetched $2,000, and a trip to the premiere of Les Mis went for $32,000!!

Well, Hugh appears ready to jump into the waves and save a life: he's wearing what look like underwater goggles around his neck. Ellen

This tweet --
Stewart Mackenzieþ@stewiemack Will be liking @realhughjackman tomorrow night at The Red Ball. Raising money for cancer research
reminding us that Hugh will be performing for the RED BALL in Melbourne tomorrow night!
I wonder which numbers from Back on Broadway does he intend to reprise for his performance?

I've been waiting for this since last year - I even wrote the American Library Association to request they ask him to do one! And now it's happened! Hugh has done READ poster! And in it, he is holding a copy of "The Man in the Moon" - the first book in the Rise of the Guardian series! You can order it from here: www.alastore.ala.org/detail.aspx?ID=4070BUT, they only ship within the US. There IS a Canadian site, the Ontario Library Association, and we Canadians can get it from them: www.accessola.com/store/bins/product_page.asp?prd_id=15129And here is a small photo of it:

It's a good book choice for his campaign since a lot of kids will be seeing the Rise of the Guardians movie soon. I put a few of the Guardian books in my wish list at Amazpn to get for my grandkids for Christmas but that one, The Man In The Moon won't be one of them. The cheapest one at Amazon is $131.97! At that price I think I'll wait till they get their own Kindle, the kindle edition is $12.99. Actually, for that price I could buy them a Kindle LOL! Sue
