Another close-up clip! The first part needs focus ... but the second part where he chooses his "victim" for the evening is very funny

*A year ago, at this time, Hugh went back to his homeland and performed for his fellow Aussies after nine years! *He debuted the song THIS IS ME, little knowing that it will take exactly one year before the song goes before the cameras in THE GREATEST SHOWMAN! *He sang to his Deb ( as he did in San Francisco, Toronto, and Broadway!) --

A year late, but this is Russell Crowe singing rock at Hugh's Oz concerts --
Hugh must be jealous -- as he sits at Russell's back who seemed to be really enjoying himself!
Didn't they follow this with the duet of THE CONFRONTATION?

Russell joined him at just the one concert, in Sydney, on Dec 2.

Yes, the other Sydney dates featured other guests such as Andy and Hamish. Samantha Barks also attended the Sydney date (with Russell as guest performer) but it seems she did not perform any number ( she can also sing pop music, if I recall right from the NYC pub show of Russell and company...which had Hugh getting up on stage to join them). Can't believe that the song THIS IS ME, introduced in those concerts, will only get unveiled officially these next few months as GREATEST SHOWMAN is finally facing the cameras! The song is not meant for Barnum, though Jo

Did we ever see this clip before? It's from the run of Broadway to Oz at the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne. A fun tap duo with Andy of Hamish & Andy. www.youtube.com/watch?v=2PHV2xNjGVUEllen

Nancy I saw the show 8 times, in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, and this one-off appearance was one of the most memorable moments, along with Russell Crowe's appearance in Sydney and Gussy's daughter's dance with Hugh in Sydney. I've been a fan of Hamish and Andy for years and always get a laugh out of their radio shows. I'm also a tennis fan and must admit that I find it difficult to watch the tennis in RLA now without remembering those unforgettable nights in Nov 15, when it was "Hugh" rather than "Hewitt" performing in front of his adoring home crowd !!
