Saw it Saturday night.  Thoroughly enjoyed it.  The jump scenes were tense and at the same time exhilirating.  I'm a stickler for period detail and thought they did a great job with that in terms of the set and costume design.  Taron tugged at the heartstrings and of course Hugh's performance was at the same time dramatic, gruff, comedic and immensely appealing.

There have been two tweets that suggest that Hugh will be promoting EDDIE in both Berlin and Paris, during the European promo period for the movie. The London premiere is on Wednesday, March 17.

Also, it is opening in China on March 18.

Sadly, the extensive promotional efforts in the USA did not translate to strong box office results. It is rather disappointing that people did not see it, given the very favorable word of mouth and the critics' approval, as well as the strong promotions given by Fox.

Hope it does better overseas!
