Someone posted on Instagram a few clips showing the screen test for Hugh and Taron for EDDIE THE EAGLE. This had taken place while Hugh was on Broadway for THE RIVER. www.instagram.com/laurawisker/Check out the five Instagram clips which start with Taron wearing a light grey shirt and Hugh in a dark jacket.

We saw brief clips of this football workout in Oakland with retired NFL player Marshawn Lynch, but this is the full version --
Hugh really loves sports!

The BluRay/DVD/Video on Demand was released recently -- maybe to time it with the opening of the Olympic Games. The movie drew very good critical response and applause from those who saw it. It is rather disappointing though that in a country as sports-loving as America that the movie went relatively unnoticed. Was it because the winter weather release left many unable to trek to the cinemas to watch it? Was the promotion not sufficient to draw much attention to it? Hugh and Taron went on so many publicity appearances and interviews, including a surprise appearance at Sundance, that one practically knew the movie even before it was released. Hugh even went as far as flying in a military fighter jet just to generate excitement! I am not sure about the TV ads though because I don't live in America. With quite a few tweeting now about how the movie evokes the Olympic spirit -- will there be renewed interest in it via the BluRay/DVD/On Demand route? Like Real Steel, it has won the hearts of those who have seen the movie! Jo
