Re the issue of " a slightly different universe " mentioned by Hugh in an interview ( which has become a source of controversy) -- an interesting and informative exchange on IMDB --

I'm just asking how that person knows that specific detail.

I saw it at a test screening.

I clipped out the date because they've done at least a couple so far and don't want anyone from Fox knowing which one I was at.

You see the whole movie? If so, was it good?

Very much so. It's my favorite X-Men film.
At least from the perception of a fan/someone who has seen an early screening, it is not as delineated as much as Hugh might have expressed it ( " slightly different universe"). It is worth noting that he has found the movie an excellent film and is now ranking it as the best one in the franchise!
Note: Of course some people might think that he could be a Fox plant, because he only registered on IMDB in November 2016

"When you see the full movie you'll understand," he told us. "Not only is it different in terms of timeline and tone, it's a slightly different universe. It's actually a different paradigm and that will become clear."
Timeline = It's later than DOFP.
Tone/Paradigm = Logan, Charles, and Calaban are the last mutants (as far as is discussed in the movie), and there hasn't been a mutant born in 25 years.
It's in the same universe as the other movies. Charles has visions of the Statue of Liberty (in reality a motel where Logan meets Laura's "mom"), and Logan tells him "The Statue of Liberty was a long time ago."
