On Demand??? That should kill any box office it could have had. I know it's an experimental idea to send films directly to On Demand. Will this negate Jennifer Garner's chance for an Oscar nomination?

Yes, that is the initial release date for theaters. Here is the info (see 4th paragraph) showing it'll be available On Demand very soon: September 7. I hope this does not mean the studio is dismissing all its award chances:

Hm...I don't know how I feel about the whole onDemand thing before being released. I've seen that several films this year are going that route but it hasn't seemed like they're big movies, mostly independent. Do you think that has something to do with it? Maybe people are more willing to watch smaller budget movies if they don't have to leave their home to do it.

Kathy, you mentioned Jennifer Garner's Oscar chances; have you seen the movie?
