A great talent and great SHOWMAN fan brings us a violin medley -- It looks like she is a very popular talent -- check out her medley from Les Miserables.

THE GREATEST SHOW has inspired this half-time show at a sports event! What next -- marching bands at half-time

BillBoard reports on the audio streams on Saturday/Sunday of Oscar weekend. THIS IS ME accounted for 51 % of all audio streams which included all 5 nominees! Hands down -- the most popular song of all - whether with the listening public or the applauding Oscar audience! www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/oscars-drive-big-streaming-gains-sufjan-stevens-mary-j-blige-1092611PS: I have noticed since Oscar talk started for the past season started, there seemed to be a bias from The Hollywood Reporter especially when NOT reporting on the remarkable box office journey of THE GREATEST SHOWMAN ( especially one publication like FORBES would report on it week after week). For this article, why use the headline of the big streaming gains of Sufjan Stevens and Mary J. Blige songs...when one song swept away 51% of all the audio streams?? Either it is poor journalism or they really do NOT want to praise THE GREATEST SHOWMAN one way or the other

This is remarkable!
How can a song that has been loved by so many and whose significance was one of the movie's central themes ... but has also touched the lives of so many, including this Children's Choir?
"Is a puzzlement!"

Except maybe for A MILLION DREAMS, it didn't seem that the other songs were ever intended as musical numbers that kids would love to sing! Amazing!

And again from the British Isles, this time from Cymru ( aka Wales...aka the land of song) -- school kids are singing THIS IS ME in a presentation. Btw -- If I may share a personal experience -- we once went to a Michael Ball concert in Cardiff, Wales ( he is part Welsh) and the morning after, we took the train back to London. It was such a happily noisy train ride -- because we happened to have ridden with what was probably the whole countryside of Wales who were singing in loud choruses all the way to London ... It so happened to be the day when Wales would be in a rugby match with England and they were cheering the team as early as that! We knew bits of a traditional Welsh song ( Bread of Heaven) because Michael taught us the chorus during the previous night concert...and sang softly along - it was that infectious Jo

D'accord!
How true -- the magic of the musical score lies not just in the catchy melodies and beats but even more so in the well-written lyrics! That is where the resonant messages of the storytelling work their magic!
