Interesting comments in response to an interview on YouTube -- re favorite song from the soundtrack :
*From Now On does sound or looks like a scene from a stage musical, including the singing style.
*It does sound like an eleven o'clock number in musical theatre.
*Not many are aware that Hugh has effected a subtle change in his singing style, with a little less of the typical musical theater vibrato?

A MILLION DREAMS -- an exceptional and inspiring cover from the Dixie State University!
Whether it is sung by kids in their living rooms or in cars...or in an outstanding production like this -- the song is a celebrated statement of one's aspirations!
I have always felt that this song, way more than This Is Me, is the true anthem of the movie - an embodiment of what a dreamer like young Phineas has guided him all throughout!
PS: Nothing brings more poignant feelings than seeing children sing about what they want their future to be!

Loren Allred uploads a live performance of her singing NEVER ENOUGH --
Was it Pasek&Paul or Michael Gracey who said that Loren was part of many of the workshops used to develop the musical score.
Just a thought -- could she take on the role of Elphaba in the forthcoming film adaptation of WICKED, assuming she has the required acting chops?

In the UK, a Platinum certificate represents 300,000 units in sales. So, it would be 600,000 for 2 X Platinum!

He used to say that he is only "an actor who fell into song".
But it is his exceptional talent of acting out a song, especially in movie or stage musicals, which enriches the character and makes his interpretation remarkable!
That is why a veteran theatregoer (from a couple with whom I had the pleasure to sit together at a performance of BACK ON BROADWAY) said after the end-of-first act interpretation of BILLY'S SOLILOQUY : " In all my years of theatre-going, that is the best interpretation of The Soliloquy I have ever seen!".
Check out Oklahoma!/Carousel/TheBoyfromOz/LesMiserables as excellent examples, in addition to THE GREATEST SHOWMAN!

The movie changes the perspective of each individual song, including the reprises!
