The Digital release won't be till this coming Tuesday ( March 20), but somehow a clip of the musical number FROM NOW ON was uploaded by an unofficial source, obviously taken from a copy with foreign subtitles. I am posting it simply for comparison purposes, if anyone wishes to do that Btw, were Barnum's eyes glistening with tears in the first part of the scene? This musical number runs through an entire gamut of emotions! It's an excellent example of where all triple-threat talents are in full use, including the acting side! Plus you need Logan's legs to run like that Best choreography in the movie

It looks like public entertainment shows are using music from the soundtrack for summer gigs -- this one in England where shows at summertime are popular. This one is in a concert hall.

I appreciate, enjoy, and recognize Karimloo as a performer and VERY talented singer, but don't think his is like "numerous other covers" because they weren't sung by a leading Broadway professional who seems to have jumped on this. I have put off listening to this. Lol. I am on some level irrationally annoyed at Karimloo for covering this song. I understand where isaruth and Jo's comments are coming from, however, I feel differently. As the old saying goes,"imitation is the sincerest form of flattery". I don't think this is any different to the numerous covers of other songs from the show. I saw K in a Broadway production of Les Mis and spoke to him at the stage door afterwards. Told him how much I enjoyed his version of "Bring Him Home" and that it was on a par with HJ's . He indicated he was a big fan of Hugh and was looking forward to meeting him at the Tonys. I found him to be a charming, friendly guy, cast in a similar mould to Hugh and in fact his voice , to me, is very similar. In this cover he has done, he also looks quite similar to Hugh, albeit he is much younger. In fact I will be attending his Sydney concert in June and really hope he performs this song.

Is ten years "much younger"? I'd call 15-20 years "much younger." Karimloo was born in '78, HJ in '68. And Efron in '88. So it goes.

I can't quite believe that Zac is now 30 yo when my early memories of him was that of a blue-eyed boy who played basketball and danced very well in High School Musical! Although he looked a little older than 30 in THE GREATEST SHOWMAN because he constantly wore a serious expression -- the only time his startling eyes sparkled with a smile was when Barnum handed him the hat and the cane and told him " that the show must go on" If THE GREATEST SHOWMAN gets delayed in its adaptation for Broadway ( say, 5 years from now) ...who knows... we might end up with the fleet-footed Zac as Barnum himself ... Or Jeremy Jordan who is now 33 years old ( whom Pasek and Paul praised profusely ...probably because the pitched in for Zac and Hugh during the final workshop) -- I believe he did a lot of dancing in NEWSIES. Both Zac and Hugh started dancing at a relatively young age ( although it seems Hugh started his dancing lessons only when he had reached 20 years old...but his natural athleticism and the physical regimen for his action movies kept him physically fit and agile)...and both have probably kept up over the years. But even with their training and experience, they said the dancing in SHOWMAN required daily rehearsals for 2 months or so (and included some very technical aspects, according to Zac). THE OTHER SIDE was supposed to be one number that they had to rehearse daily from Day 1! Dance is the talent that probably goes first among the triple-threats. Is 40 too old to start learning how to dance as they did on The Greatest Showman? Acting is the only aspect of the triple-threats that does not bow down to old(er) age -- look at Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart ( movies and stage). There will always be material for drama or comedy. Jo

LOL -- I had just placed an order with Amazon.co.uk for MichaelBall/AlfieBoe's second album ( Together Again) and the temptation was too much. I wanted to contribute to THE GREATEST SHOWMAN soundtrack album campaign to match Adele's 11 weeks at # 1 in the UK charts -- so the order for the SHOWMAN CD crept into my shopping basket and delivery choices Jo

Cover of From Now On by Ramin Karimloo -- I wasn’t keen on the beginning slow part, but the rest was good. Anybody notice he is probably a lefty as he wears his watch on his right wrist? Nancy

I can't ever be chosen if I auditioned... nor can I even read notes ( maybe just getting a general idea) but my copy of the songbook from the movie has finally arrived!
Looking at the song sheets -- such as The Greatest Show -- amazing how Hugh coped with sudden changes in range -- more than an octave some times!
But the musical score and the album keep getting worldwide audience approval and support.
Too bad the Oscars chose not to recognize its main anthemic song when everyone else does!
Hope the next GRAMMYs will do the album justice!

Hard to keep up with all the uploads of covers of various songs, even those that are professionally done or sung in concerts by professional performers.
Here's one --

The "tabloid" press in the UK can be so uninformed (trying to be polite with the use of "uninformed")! www.express.co.uk/entertainment/music/938437/Hugh-Jackman-The-Greatest-Showman-soundtrack-album-platinumWouldn't it be more logical to assume that the PLATINUM record has been achieved in America -- *It has already gone gold in the USA sometime ago -- on February 9 (which would be two months since release date... by March 28,it would be in release for an additional month and a half) *The USA has a very large population compared to the UK or Australia and is more likely to have achieved the magic "million" sales. *The movie has achieved the third largest-grossing live-action musical box office record in the USA Also, Zac Efron was rejoicing over the PLATINUM achievement --why would he do that if not for it being achieved in his native USA? Arghhhhhhhhh Jo
