The sleeper hit song!
Not surprising that this is the song that first brought in Pasek and Paul into the film project. They competed with other songwriters for the right song to introduce the beginnings of young Barnum's life and won over other even more famous composers.

These are remarkable testaments to the staying power of TGS as a perennial family favorite, much like THE WIZARD OF OZ.

It is amazing that kids's amazing childhood favorites are 2 iconic characters portrayed by Hugh Jackman! *Wolverine -- many claim that he (his story) was their childhood now that they have matured *Greatest Showman -- both boys and girls are enamored with the music and characters from the Barnum biopic. What one might conclude as the unifying reason for both movies becoming classic favorites, at least for kids -- it must be the action plays that each movie does to the highest degree!Wolverine is action stuff related to childhood games of finding an antagonist to play-fight with. And Greatest Showman has fantastic production numbers where the dancing and other physical movements seem so easy to copy, if you were a kid And A MILLION DREAMS has been claimed by the young ones as their anthem  While the copy adamantium claws ( and the yellow spandex) were their other iconic Halloween traditional signature look  Jo |
