It was reported earlier that Robbie Williams would like a duet with Hugh for his next SWING ( ala Sinatra) album.

I used to read on Broadway theatre boards that the Brit audiences do not do standing ovations as a general rule. I saw a lot of musicals and a few plays in London but I cannot recall how people react during curtain call. Come to think of it -- personally, I think my first standing ovation was for The Boy From Oz ... And that was after many years of theatergoing in London. I don't recall that we the audience stood up for Oklahoma! in London Jo

Caught the finale P!nk medley of her greatest hits. No million dreams with Hugh, though Btw, The Greatest Show from the opener was used for the part which presents all the show credits. Great number for the opening and the closing credits! Jo

Yes, I was hoping he’d pop up again, but at least the audio of “The Greatest Show” was repeated over the closing credits.
Of course, Pink’s opulent, grandiose medley of her hits was eye-popping without the assistance of another superstar.

Apart from his singing and dancing skills, he easily stood out in that entire singing and dancing troupe! A real attention-getter! .

Why is THE GREATEST SHOWMAN the backdrop for the event? Is this a much earlier photo? Maybe from a premiere ( the one at the QE2?)
Hugh did mention Michael Gracey in his tweet about the BRITS.

Hugh's appearance at the BRITS was likely primarily to promote his upcoming tour, not just at the UK but the rest of Europe and in the USA. Someone suggested that Patrick Whitesell should have insisted on an award be given to Hugh at the BRITS Lol - is that how these things work? Not likely for Hugh - his Grammy and his Tony and his Emmy were all based on hard work and inspired presentations!

LOL! http://instagram.com/p/BuHfOyVBlWr Hugh was elegant and his dinner jacket is sleek but in matte silver... not garish as others. I wonder if Tom Ford also designed that for him? Jo

It was reported earlier that Robbie Williams would like a duet with Hugh for his next SWING ( ala Sinatra) album. Jo Robbie is more of a pop star but his album SWING WHEN YOU'RE WINNING featured songs that are more familiar with the era of Sinatra, Crosby and Darin: Here's the selections from that album -- Hugh has sung MACK THE KNIFE & WELL DID YA EVAH ( from High Society) with Andy for Broadway to Oz. It's fun to speculate -- maybe they will do a swing number that will go to the next Robbie Williams SWING ALBUM! Jo

That has to be an earlier photo. Hugh’s hair is a bit longer on the sides and he has some scruff, whereas at the Brits he was clean-shaven. P.S. Why does Michael Gracey always wear that cap? Nancy
