I'll take him scruff or no scruff...as long as his hair isn't too short! His hair is beautiful.😍 I'm no fan of his current look! Usually I love him with stubble - more than clean-shaven - but this gray-white scruff isn't very flattering IMO! It makes him older than he is and makes him look a bit scruffy. And it doesn't fit to his concert and his concert suits (particularly not to his silver jacket). Also, "Peter" with a gray and white hair scrub indeed doesn't compute. Since this will be his supposed look for Reminiscence, I hope he won't have a full beard - or hopefully his beard will be dyed at least for the movie! A gray-white (full) beard would really turn me off! I have the feeling, that many fans on Twitter belong to a certain group of new fans, who just "love" everything and repeat the agenda that a few others of them set! Most of them have probably never heard anything about Wolverine before they became fans through Greatest Showman, so I doubt it's a hangover from the good old Wolverine days for them. LOL I know it's shallow, ludicrous and complaining about first world problems. LOL As I said, usually I prefer him with stubble to clean-shaven, but this gray-white scrub turns me off. And I think, it's in particular unsuitable for his show. I don't mind his hair. I like shorter hair more - one of my favorite looks is still his Charlie Kenton look - but as long as his longer top layer of hair isn't styled again as a sort of pompadour hairstyle, longer hair is ok, too. LOL On a related note regarding his supposed look in Reminiscence, since Rebecca is 15 years younger than him and plays his love interest, they shouldn't necessarily make him look even older with a gray-white (or full) beard than he actually is. It could be unwise to play any gender interest groups, that might criticize the age gap, into the hands and give them more needless reasons for their foolish complaints.

I am going to guess about Reminiscence (aka Jade Earring) -- It is not a straightforward story in terms of the time sequence...so I will leave judgment until we know more about the film itself ( I have read the first draft of the script...but things could change). What I can say is it is not the romantic story that we conventionally think of -- it is very complicated. And the character that Rebecca Ferguson plays is far from the glamorous Jenny Lind we saw in The Greatest Showman. Besides, I was only guessing that the new Jackman facial hair is related to the movie ( although because of the sequence of events, it is very likely … as he is starting filming as soon as he wraps the tour). Hugh has shown us different head hair in many of his films/stage shows -- sometimes they are a consequence of what he has done before ( he had the slightly-longer-than-a-buzz cut for The River because he had recently completed filming PAN where he was bald). The bearded look of Keller Dover in Prisoners was likely because he was due to start filming Days of Future Past eventually? While he appeared bald as Tommy the space traveler in The Fountain, nothing could be worse than his look as the convict Valjean pulling those ropes on the ship dockyard! They really messed up his hair and scalp! When he puts on unglamorous looks, you know that his primary interest is to actualize a character portrayal as well as the storyline intended! At age 50, he is not going to look all that young and therefore some roles are no longer age-appropriate... and I can live with that. But given his well-chiseled looks, he is going to be somewhat more aristocratic-looking (just as how Patrick Stewart has aged and is now in his 80's) than Hollywood glamor boy. I don't mind that - I would like to see him in meatier character roles and for him to develop further as a standcout dramatic actor. Of course, in Hollywood now, look at the current crop of 50-and-above actors -- the best ones are not being cast aside. Of course that depends on whether he becomes a more powerful draw for the filmmakers ( maybe with a series of excellent performances, this will come, too). I asked the question "Quo vadis, Hugh Jackman?" after he said he was giving up his iconic superhero role and had not fully established his film musical credentials. LOGAN was a surprise - he showed us how excellent an actor ( in drama, too) he can be, despite the action-oriented nature of the movie! It is heartening to note that Showman further proved that he can be a powerful draw in movie musicals. And now that he is dipping his toes more seriously into drama ( Front Runner, Bad Education...and hopefully, to some extent, Reminiscence, aka Jade Earring) maybe he has found another acting hat that he wears well as he moves more and more into middle-aged roles! Just my personal thoughts - not asking anyone to think in a similar fashion Jo PS: One of my favorite actors is Sean Connery ( I actually saw him in the first James Bond movie, Dr No ("Bond, James Bond" were first uttered in that movie), when it was first released because I read the early Bond books by Ian Fleming before they became a movie franchise. He only stopped acting a few years ago ( or has he, really?). But wasn't he voted as People's Sexiest Man Alive a second time around no more than 10 years ago ( after Hugh getting the title) - proving that elderly gentlemen do not lose their sex appeal even when they become senior citizens! Loved him again as Harrison Ford's Dad in the Indiana Jones series ( Imagine playing Dad to Harrison Ford? )… What do Hugh, Sean, and Harrison have in common? A strong manly charm and very masculine appeal. That is not going to go away

There are a lot of unsold tickets for the last leg of Hugh’s tour. Looking around ticketmaster you’ll see a lot of blue.
In Boston the empty seats were very noticeable. The Boston Garden’ s staff did a very efficient job of moving people into those empty seats just prior to showtime. There have been a few tweets of people boasting of their upgrades. And this morning a Google Alert shows a veterans group thanking AEG for the donation of free tickets. They resorted to seat fillers.
It makes me wonder why producers wanted this last leg. It seems a natural end would have been Australia and New Zealand. Sure, there was no predicting sales but I wonder if this was just the profit run...these last dozen shows for profit after a recoup of the tour production nut? Or maybe they were needed to just break even? Perhaps I shouldn’t be applying Broadway financial mindsets and big tours see substantial profit margins regularly?

I would like him with a bit of scruff if he shaved his neck, but he never does, so I prefer clean-shaven. And his hair looks good now. Didn’t like the real short sides he had for a couple weeks!

I know it was a long time ago, but my all-time favorite look for Hugh was when he hosted the Oscars. Clean-shaven with perfectly styled hair. Even more swoon-worthy than usual. As good as it gets! Early signs of the budding friendship -- That looks like Hugh ( wearing a Global Citizen T-shirt) ...and seated next to him looks like Keala? Jo IMDB listed Hugh as a producer but he remained an uncredited one in the movie credits. For the Oscar nomination for THIS IS ME - an Instagram thank you! http://instagram.com/p/BebXqLfhG7v http://instagram.com/p/Bc8OTGjB4s5

How Hugh is looking these days -- I could be wrong -- but I am getting more and more convinced that he is developing the look for REMINISCENCE ( aka TJE). I think I even know when the look will likely come in the storyline. Jo http://instagram.com/p/B3SwZtLJ1wA Hmm... 8 of the 10 men are wearing facial hair

Hugh also mentions that friend Anna Wintour ( Vogue Editor-In-Chief) is in the audience. The Devil Wears Prada
