That was a very strong but poignant portrayal by Hugh Jackman. In thinking he was trying to reach his son by not following his Dad's way, he was actually neglecting him in another way. HJ was excellent as both a father & a son.

X poster is a techie - software developer/mathematician. Hugh's interpretation has reached many kinds of people.

The Son is not about a display of HughJackman's manly charms...but his acting prowess in a searing familial drama with an adolescent in depression. His most vulnerable moments are a fine display of how he can summon emotions that touch the very core of a human being!

Lol - the young generation who have discovered Hugh Jackman via Deadpool & Wolverine view THE SON as a display of his good looks. LOL!

The Son is 1 of 2 film roles that HughJackman actively sought to get. Not a medical procedural but meant to get conversations flowing on such a difficult current day societal issue. It is even more scary when 1 learns young kids are sometimes its victims!
