It looks like an Asian (maybe Chinese) recipe which is also something we have in our food choices here. There are many similar recipes which Hugh can harvest for his protein-rich Wolverine diet (maybe shrimp, carrots & cashew/maybe chicken beef with Chinese broccoli, etc. It need not be steamed chicken & steamed broccoli all the time Jo

Is that start date for filming already firm? Or was that taken from earlier news reports? Whatever it is -- it looks like Wolverine's muscles are ready for their closeups Jo

Marvel Studio President Kevin Feige will be a producer for this (rumored Hard) R-rated movie.
Kevin and Hugh go back a long way working together. When Hugh was auditioning for the first XMen movie in 1999, Kevin was supposed to have picked him up at the airport. Kevin was the assistant of Producer Lauren Shuler Donner with the rank of Associate Producer. He is also credited for having approved the famous Wolvie hairstyle.

How young Hugh looked then! Everyone must have been in love with him on the set -- including Singer and Feige

Someone on Twitter asked how a musical theatre performance ( Oklahoma!) could have been instrumental in the decision to cast Hugh Jackman as Wolverine (a decision suggested by producer Lauren Shuler Donner who saw Hugh Jackman in Oklahoma!). To him it seemed like an incongruous decision. If you see the many versions of Oklahoma! on film, revivals, community theatre, school decisions, even concert stagings by the classical music BBC Proms -- you might as well be in agreement. I watched some clips from the Jackman/1998 London Oklahoma! once again -- I did realize that the major difference from this staging (especially Hugh Jackman's performance) and all the other versions -- was that Hugh Jackman was ACTING out the songs, as he sang them. Unlike many who would sing partly addressing the audience ( which takes one out of the storytelling), Hugh (and his co-stars) would act as if there were no audiences watching them ( except for the finale title song, which theatrically-speaking needed to address the audience as they sing the Ode to the state of Oklahoma!) -- they were acting with each other! Hugh Jackman, in particular, was demonstrating his fine acting skills ( comedic or dramatic) while delivering his lines or his songs. As a side note, I remember Oklahoma! composer Richard Rodgers grandson Adam Guettel saying how impressed he was with the way Jackman would segue from spoken word to singing and back to spoken word - it was very natural! His Mom, Mary Rodgers, had also said that the 1998 London Oklahoma! was the best version she had ever seen of the musical! I used to think that the film adaptation with Gordon McRae made this Rodgers&Hammerstein musical the most boring of their grand musicals works. It was because the acting was too much of "ham" acting and took the seriousness out of the theme and the background story. Ok - here is a sample of how Hugh Jackman delivered one of the most iconic songs ( my favorite Jackman interpretation in this musical) The Surrey With The Fringe on Top As luck would have it -- I actually saw this performed LIVE in 1999 in London. But I did not know who the lead was -- just someone with a commmanding stage presence & a powerful legit stage voice Jo

I am actually much more comfortable ( even a little excited) that Kevin Feige, as Producer of Hugh's next movie, will be involved. I have to confess that I am not exactly a Deadpool fan ( can only take him in small measure) -- but having Kevin Feige, who worked with Hugh in the first XMen movie, gives me a sense of confidence that the movie will appeal to a broader market rather than the slice of fandom who worship the Deadpool type of stories.
I am hoping that the movie with Deadpool will explore some aspects of the ever-serious Wolverine's life that lightened it up... but in a storyline that also appeals to adult audiences.

I can almost see a future confrontation between the pure Deadpool fans and the XMen/Jackman fans having some kind of disagreement on how this movie will turn up - LOL!
I think the Deadpool fans are not appreciating the fact that Deadpool & Ryan would have had no future if Marvel Studio did not provide the greenlight! No funding, no movie!
Ryan has been "begging" to get his 3rd Deadpool movie approved since Fox was bought by Disney ( mother company of Marvel Studios). That has been happening for the last ...what... 4 years or so?? That was why Ryan was begging Hugh to come back to a movie with Deadpool. You may have a coterie of Deadpool/Ryan fans -- but if there is no studio to give it its support - the project will continue to languish. I think Kevin, by pointing out his excitement about Hugh's return, has actually expressed his confidence that it is the Jackman element that boosted his confidence in this film project.
Will the movie move a little away from the sophomoric vein of Deadpool movies? It will likely so - because Feige would want it to appeal to a broader market and maybe he thinks that Hugh/Wolverine involvement will give it a more acceptable addition to the Disney stable of movies. Maybe Feige had even talked to returning Disney boss Bob Iger on his expectations on this new and unusual project for Marvel/Disney!

I think compromise is not always bad.
Look at LOGAN. It took several turns before getting final approval -- and if the story it true, it meant trimming the budget and even Hugh Jackman allowing a salary cut from his previous XMen compensation.
*that probably forced Mangold to turn to the more dramatic- oriented and less action-oriented aspect of the movie. *the salary cut story may have appealed to people who probably thought that Hugh had more artistic-oriented motives for making the movie.
Look at how it was embraced universally -- not just the XMen fans but thoss outside this tight band of moviegoers...to those who liked the dramatic element of the movie. That it became universally touted as the best in the genre is the highest accolade for LOGAN. It did not do too bad in the box office either.

Translated from Spanish by Google : I approve I like it that now a serious dramatic actor is added to the line-up ( and will play his brother Victor/Sabretooth). This will likely be an indication that this slice of Deadpool stories will not be 100% in the same vein as the previous 2 films. I wonder -- will they take off from the much-maligned XMEN Origins :Wolverine? When Wade Wilson/Deadpool was supposed to have been killed by the brothers? Is this going to be a retelling? Just guessing Jo

Of course I have no idea if what Liev is talking about has anything to do with his return as Victor - LOL! The fan who reported it may be just be doing some wishful thinking Jo

movieweb.com/deadpool-3s-filming-start-date-revealed-in-latest-production-details/I've read somewhere about the filming venues -- Interesting that the film's principal photography will be done at Pinewood in London (Wasn't THE SON filmed at Pinewood?) which is the largest film studios in the UK. XMen movies used to be filmed more in Canada than anywhere else. Vancouver will be used as the second unit. Unless the character that is identified with Owen Wilson is important to the overall franchise... Not surprised about the Owen Wilson casting as he worked on the 3-movie Night at the Museum series directed by Shawn Levy.
