Hi, I'm Vicki. I am so sad to have the other site close. Just the thought of all those photos vanishing makes me ill. It would be so nice if it could all be transferred here somehow. I have probably thousands of Hugh pics saved on photobucket, as do many others. It will be fun to "rediscover" them over here.

Hello my name is Eugenia. I'm Spanish, the city of Seville, I have over 40 years. I was always passionate about cinema. Hugh Bell with the character of Wolverine and from there I followed his career to date. My other favorite actor Russell Crowe is almost 15 years. He had little time in the original forum, sorry. I hope to learn and enjoy a lot in this new forum was born. I apologize because it just English, helped me through a translator, so more than once will commit many errors.

Thank you to everyone for setting this up and participating. I have been away for awhile and only just back from England but missed Hugh, figures he was here while I was there! Busy w/e so I won't have time to investigate now but I hope to be back soon. I'm no techno wizard, so it will take me awhile to learn how to use all the features. Nice to see all the familiar names! Thanks! Patty

Hello everyone! I'm a newbie to the board and my name is Nevaeh. I'm from Toronto and have visited the red board many times, but wasn't a member. I have read so many of your comments over the past few years and found a lovely closeness you share over the board as though you are all family! It is a family I would love to now share in and be part of. I have been a fan of Hugh for 10 years now and look forward to chatting along with you all on this wonderful new board. It is an honor to now finally join. God bless!

I registered as well. I was never really an "ozalot" (I never even got a chance to see Hugh live) but I will miss the original ozalot forum.

Did you get to see Hugh's show in Toronto? Sue

Thank you so much Sue! And yes indeed ;D I did get to see Hugh's show here TWICE!! I also got to meet him twice which was an absolute blessing! I will never forget seeing him for the first time on that stage. My best friend and I were sitting right in the front row. We could have reached out and touched his shiny shoes; he was so close. It's an unbelievable feeling at first when that curtain opens and you hear him sing the first few bars of "Oh What A Beautiful Morning", and then.....he steps out. You spend the first few moments trying to shake yourself awake because it feels like you're still at home watching the television or a movie screen. By the second song you realize this is really happening, and he's really there in front of you singing and dancing just a few feet away! By the third, you go into complete shock :o and haven't got a clue what he just sang because your brain has finally realized that Hugh Jackman, whom you've adored for so many years, is REALLY there in the same room with you. ;D I have to admit, it still all feels like a dream to me; especially when he came down to the front row and high fived us at the end! He also knelt down in front of the woman sitting right next to me and sang to her (reminder to self next time to take my husband along because he seemed to pick on "couples" ) So, yes Sue, I did go, and enjoyed every moment of both shows. He's such an amazing performer and a complete gentleman.

Not necessary to have your partner around -- just loads of luck ...I did have three serenades ( surreal! :o) in seats that I thought he would never pick. One in SF ( with a young relative) and twice on Broadway ( all alone!). Luck of the draw ;D

To tell you the truth - I was so dumbstruck ( and I am usually not that kind of a person) that I forgot what he was actually singing :o *But the most lingering memory is seeing his eyes close up -- it was a startling light hazel color! *In NYC, he changed the serenade a little, instead of kneeling down, he took my hand and put it close to his heart while he sang. How can anyone resist that Jo

Hello everyone! I finally made my way over to the new Ozalot board and kept the same member name. Hope you all are doing well. I haven't been posting much on the old board lately, but every once in a while I lurk around. Glad to see a lot of familiar names!
