Hugh Jackman is suseptible to skin cancer. He wears a wet suit when he goes to the beach as well. I'm not sure the exact diagnosis but it's a medical condition, so it's best if he covers his body the majority of the time.

I don't think that was the case. I think the Costume Design Group decided on this design for aesthetic reasons. It blends better with the Deadpool long-sleeved costume. The long sleeves design was probably more flattering to Hugh Jackman's height.

The Disney #CinemaCon panel opened with a "silence your cell phone" announcement given by #DeadpoolAndWolverine. In the footage, Wolverine yells and cusses at the audience, and Deadpool says "When you get angry like that it makes my {bleep} vibrate"

The clip was Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds in costume talking about all the rumors about Secret Wars, when a phone rings, Hugh shits his fucking mother and starts hitting everyone.

End with "silence your phone at the movies"

Ryan Reynolds’ potty-mouthed superhero Deadpool made a Las Vegas convention hall blush on Thursday, unveiling 9-minutes of vulgar and hilarious footage from the upcoming sequel “Deadpool and Wolverine” at CinemaCon.

Stacked with meta jokes about Disney’s Marvel Studios finally making an R-rated film – and just how unprepared the company’s executives are for this kind of release – the annual gathering of global movie theater owners ate up all the raunch. They also cheered for the briefest look at Hugh Jackman‘s return as Wolverine, the X-Men character he’s played on and off for years.

“Suck it Fox, I’m going to Disneyland. Get fucked,” Reynolds said in the character during a 9 minute sizzle reel. He alludes to the former 20th Century Fox studio which made the first two “Deadpool” films, which later became Disney’s when they acquired the 20th Century assets in 2019. There were also references to cocaine use (“The only thing Feige said was off limits!” Deadpool said in the footage, which often breaks the fourth wall) and a security force mistaken for exotic dancers at a surprise birthday party for Reynolds (“I’m not new to pegging,” Deadpool tells a group of goons wielding batons, “but Disney is. And this isn’t ‘Pretty Woman.’ We’re kissing”).



He’s pulled back into the game by Mr. Paradox (“Succession” star Matthew Macfadyen), an agent of the Time Variance Authority, who feels Deadpool is ready to live up to his potential and take his place in the hall of great Marvel heroes.

Initially put into development in 2018, the film finally went into production in May 2023 in the United Kingdom. Soon after, was shuttered four months due to the SAG-AFTRA strike forcing a release date change from May 3 to July 26 this year.

The first film in the “Deadpool” franchise followed the anti-hero seeking revenge against Ajax (Ed Skrein), the man who turned him into a mutant. The second film saw Deadpool organize a team to thwart time-traveling soldier Cable (Josh Brolin) Both “Deadpool” films enjoyed robust box office success.

Disney brought a new look at the R-rated Marvel movie to Las Vegas.

When the Merc with a Mouth hits Las Vegas, he hits it hard.
Disney showed off a fresh sneak peek at Deadpool and Wolverine at CinemaCon, the annual convention where studios preview their upcoming slates for movie theater owners. And aside from new looks at Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, back together as their titular characters for the first time since 2009's X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Marvel presented nine minutes of footage teasing Wade Wilson's foray into the MCU.

Director Shawn Levy was present at CinemaCon, where he will also be honored as Director of the Year during a ceremony on Thursday. He told the crowd that he counted himself lucky to direct this "team-up that all of us fans have waited at least 15 years to see." "Hugh and Ryan in their most iconic roles, bringing their A-game every day, was remarkable," he added.

Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige also teased that the film is "f---ing awesome." "I'm allowed to say that!" he told the audience with a grin. "It's R-rated!"

The footage introduced Reynolds' Wade working as a car salesman, stapling a wig to his head before heading to work. He later admits to friend Peter (a returning Rob Delaney) that he's struggling to adjust to normal life, having retired from superheroism.

Later, Wade celebrates his birthday with some familiar faces, including Leslie Uggams' Blind Al and Morena Baccarin's Vanessa. After blowing out his candles and making a wish, agents from the Time Variance Authority (the multiverse organization first introduced in Disney+ series Loki) show up to crash, whisking Wade away to meet with Mr. Paradox (Succession star Matthew Macfadyen). At one point, Deadpool turns to the camera, breaking the fourth wall to declare: "Suck it, Fox. I'm going to Disneyland!"

The footage ended with Deadpool reuniting with Wolverine, driving together in a car. There, Deadpool pokes fun at Wolverine's costume, arguing that his color scheme makes him look like he plays for the Los Angeles Rams.

Various other names and Marvel characters have been reported to appear in Deadpool and Wolverine, but only a select few have been officially confirmed. Karan Soni (Dopinder), Brianna Hildebrand (Negasonic Teenage Warhead), Stefan Kapičić (Colossus), Shioli Kutsuna (Yukio), Rob Delaney (Peter), Lewis Tan (Shatterstar), and Randal Reeder (Buck) are all reprising their roles from the past Deadpool movies.

Emma Corrin (A Murder at the End of the World) will also play a villain (rumored to be a notable figure from the X-Men comics), and Aaron Stanford, who played fire-wielding mutant Pyro in 2003's X2 and 2006's X-Men: The Last Stand, was spotted in the film's previous Super Bowl trailer.

Deadpool and Wolverine will be a third-wall-breaking multiverse adventure that sees TVA agents yank Wade Wilson/Deadpool out of his reality and into various others. The film is set for release on July 26.

HughJackman is the master of breaking the 4th wall - on stage. As early as 2003, when he won a Tony for BoyfromOz -the show was peppered w/ breaking the 4th wall w/ the audience ( like ribbing someone arriving late... or he spots a " blonde young woman: You're gorjus!",etc. 😂
