Jo, there is also a Spice Market restaurant in New York. You may recall that is where they had the launch party for The Kimchi Chronicles, and Hugh and Deb attended. Actually my hubby went to a business dinner there recently, where they had a private party room, and a special tasting menu. He said the food was incredible! I definitely want to try it.

Hugh Jackman on the lookout for a home with a bay view Wes Hosking From: Herald Sun July 04, 2012 12:00AM www.heraldsun.com.au/entertainment/hugh-jackman-on-the-lookout-for-a-home-with-a-bay-view/story-e6frf96f-1226416164992Hugh Jackman Hugh Jackman on stage at Broadway. AP HOLLYWOOD superstar Hugh Jackman could splash up to $20 million on a luxury base for his family on the Mornington Peninsula. The Sydney-born actor and his wife, Deborra-Lee Furness, are expected to fly in soon to inspect top-end properties around Mornington and Mt Eliza. The actors have been looking for a home near friends and family for years, but are ramping up the search as their children grow older. They were accompanied by Furness's mother, a Peninsula local, during an earlier property search. Real estate agent Terry Sparks confirmed he was expecting a call from a family contact for Jackman. "He's after something that's probably top-end," Mr Sparks said. Jackman, 43, and his family spend most of their time at their apartment in New York. With son Oscar now 12 and daughter Ava 6, it is believed the X-Men favourite is keen to spend more time in Australia. A spokeswoman said filming of Jackman's new movie, The Wolverine, would begin in Sydney soon and continue until the end of the year. While Jackman would spend most of his time there, he is expected to visit Melbourne on weekends.

He wore a wig as Monsieur Le Maire Jean Valjean and also as old man Valjean Besides, this is how Logan/Wolverine looked like in the graphic novel on his adventure in the land of the samurai warriors -- Jo

They are now on our side of the world ;D
If they chose to land in Darwin, that is only about 2 flying hours from Bali ... I think Sydney would take about 6 flying hours, though.

My prediction: Regular Wolvie hair and he will have to wear a wig for it. Ugh! I hated that wig!

Just wondering -- is Jean Imbert referring to the KutaBeach restaurant at the Gold Coast in Queensland. There is also some reference to "battre un australien au surf", so have they been in a surfing duel at the Gold Coast?? LOL - are the Jackmans already in Australia? Isn't Hugh part owner of the Gwinganna Resort at the Gold Coast in Queensland? www.gwinganna.com/location.htmlI'm sleuthing again -- sorry, Hugh Jo

I hope Ava didn't mind not spending her seventh birthday at a party with all her school friends. Then again, she's been in beautiful, exotic locales at luxurious resorts. Not too shabby.

It looks like the hotel staff ( in the place where they were staying in Bali) sang Happy Birthday to Ava! Here's a pic of Hugh with a fan (Danyal Aziz) in Bali -- Jo
