Every time I see him sporting a team scarf, I think of an adult Harry Potter.

Oscar's face does look younger--and they appear to be riding through Central Park. So I'd agree that it's not relatively recent. Cute pic, though.

I really feel that commenting on the kids is inappropriate. I know that it goes with the territory of being a celebrity's kid, but should it be? My opinion, of course, and it's a sensitive subject, but I felt the need to say something. I'm sure that Oscar has a computer and is able to read. It's tough enough to be a preteen, but imagine what it would be like for a kid to see a discussion of his appearance on line. Yeah, he probably would never read this forum in 100 years, but what if he did?

Great meeting Mr. Griffiths drama class today at @knoxgrammar. So impressed w/ you all. Good luck on Monday w/ exams!! pic.twitter.com/CJ6mTAkYAlso -- Some recollections from well-known Old Boys...
"I am a person who loves to learn new things and challenge myself. I totally credit this quality to the education I received at Knox. One’s effort was always held higher than one’s results, and a true passion for learning and discovery was at the heart of everything we did.” Hugh Jackman (1986) ActorOne of the boys was able to send a photo with Hugh to his sister ( to her envy!) right away -- Okay - who will be KNOX's next Hugh Jackman Jo

Had he been 20 years younger, I would disagree and say he would be gorgeous singing Younger than Springtime and fierce singing Carefully TaughtThe "problem" with Hugh is that he can probably portray all the characters of Rodgers and Hammerstein musicals -- *Curly *Billy Bigelow *Emile deBecque or, if younger, Lt Joseph Cable *Captain Von Trapp *Prince Charming ( in the R&H Cinderella), if younger) *Lead in State Fair ( he did well portraying a character in small town Americana in REAL STEEL) *The King, if properly made up, in The King and I As a matter of fact, it would be quite a tantalizing sight to see him sing ( and dance, albeit to different kind of steps) the role of the King of Siam The classic leading man type, that's why, even in musicals !! Very true, Jo. He is the "R&H go-to-type" guy. Interestingly enough, the OBC "Curly" in OKLAHOMA!, Alfred Drake, was originally first choice for the lead in THE KING AND I. Drake chose KISS ME KATE instead, and Yul Brynner made the role his. I could see Hugh in the role someday, and he doesn't have to be bald to pull it off. The actual King of Siam had hair.

LOL -- Hugh can also do KISS ME KATE! Or the Shakespearean TAMING OF THE SHREW, if they ever do a remake!

That hair is getting nicely wild and woolly.
I think only a decade ago he'd have made a great Cable. But Emile de Becque is usually a deep baritone, no? That would seem to be a little out of Hugh's range.

His speaking vocal range can be deceiving. In XMen:First Class, his classic and infamous 3-word dialog ( acclaimed all over the action-movie-world!) was uttered with a baritonal voice And isn't Billy Bigelow's SOLILOQUY meant to be a solo for a baritone? Jo

Love how he's always wearing team shirts.
Jo, I think most would classify John Raitt as a bari-tenor. In fact, his legendarily high tessitura in the last note of "Soliloquy"--which no other Billy has attempted, at least to my knowledge--ended that performance as a definite tenor. When I think of Emile's songs in SP, what I hear in my head is deep, deep baritone ("Twin Soliloquies", "This Nearly Was Mine").
Then again, depending on the key chosen, how the music is scored, etc., I suppose any piece can be tailored to the singer. Look at PHANTOM. The phantom was originally a baritone, then his songs were re-keyed to Michael Crawford's tenor. So go figure.
