Another photo with Hugh around the city ( posted by a friend of the fan with Hugh) -- Are they queuing for cupcakes Jo Less than a week till the Christmas special. I wonder if he'll still have the band-aid on.

I see Hugh still has a small bandage on his nose. Today I did a basal cell carcinoma case where the man had a 2" round open wound (area removed) on his right scalp, above his eyebrow. We did a skin flap where you put the area back together, but you end up with a big scar there. He also had 2 places of BCC on his chest removed. I hope Hugh's scar isn't too noticeble. Nancy

Museum-hopping! Would you guys agree with this description of Wolverine? - big badass guy - healthy looking guy - in the prime of his life - something about him that's different from any other - bright and figures stuff out - cool as anything - good-sized claws - a ton of attitude - not afraid of very much - can look a grizzly in the face and say "yeah, I think I can take you" - has so much energy - gotta have something to do all the time - strategy: go hard and high and steep and never back down - he's all about courage and being wild - nose that can detect something 20 ft under the snow I found myself bursting out laughing... because these descriptions aren't referring to Hugh Jackman's Wolverine... but to the one Hugh is pointing to in that pic! I got such a kick out of hearing those expressions describing the fierce little mammal, I HAD to share them with you all, and I had to share them here, right under the picture of Hugh with his 'namesake'. Some of those descriptions are like Wolverine the character, and others like Hugh the man... go back and read the list! No, I'm not kidding, those are the EXACT words they used throughout the PBS special WOLVERINE: CHASING THE PHANTOM. Watch it and listen for yourselves! video.pbs.org/video/1642358743/Did anyone else watch it? It was on MONTANA PBS, as part of their NATURE Series. For those of you outside the US, here's a short clip viewable anywhere: www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Lad3xHD970Because I didn't have time to sit down and watch it while it was actually ON, I taped it. When I played it back and started hearing all those expressions, I had to pause it and take notes to share with you all. Enjoy! Alma P.S. Here's a link to a description of the book THE WOLVERINE WAY by Doug Chadwick: www.pbs.org/wnet/nature/episodes/wolverine-chasing-the-phantom/the-wolverine-way/6054/

I wonder if the doc OK'd a trip to Bondi (with plenty of sunblock and maybe the bandage)?

He could go very early in the morning, almost dawn...or early evening when the sun has set ( when the water could still be comfortable from the warmth of the sunrays during the day) Jo

Someone tweeted that Hugh has already been to Bondi. That must have felt great.

Doesn't he always say as soon as he gets back home, it's zoom--off to the beach, preferably Bondi? Much as I love those photos (thanks, Jo), I hope he doesn't stayed uncovered too long. (I feel like I just blasphemed.) Ellen

Hugh joined resident Aussie friends and those who flew in for the holidays for a reunion dinner.

It's funny that every time I look at that picture just above, my first reaction is that he has claws on his left hand! Just carrying a bag of some sort, presumably.

Re the white towel photo: Budgie smuggling, anyone? (Yes, the shark print is cute, but where's the Speedo?) I could easily become a bird-watcher. Ellen
