This was the best interview I think I've seen next to the original hour with Charlie Rose. Jeff was a generous host, and Hugh, as always, was a very generous guest. Loved it. And Hugh looked his absolute best that day.

I liked the Jeff Probst interview for all the possible reasons but I noticed how close they sat to each other. It was almost as if two good friends chatted, ignoring the audience. It was a nice change of pace and he even "changed" some of his stories a little

I was lucky to have seen that on its replay here in Manila. Hugh must have been more relaxed when there is sincerity from the host.

Thank you so much for the Jeff Probst interview. It was one of the best I've seen with Hugh. Did you all get Hugh's questions right? They seemed so easy. Hugh is truly an honest and humble man. That is rare for Hollywood (even though he lives in NY). The last question about dying at 50 with friends or living to 80 and dying alone was really profound. What a great answer!! I just adore our Hugh. Am I strange or in great company? >

Wolverine is a "big role" in DAYS OF FUTURE PAST? Well, that settles the is-it-a-cameo? question. And I wonder who broke his heart in drama school, and whose heart HE broke. Such tantalizing bits. And I don't think I ever knew about Oscar's LD. Hugh really opened up in this touching interview.

This really is a revealing interview. I'm often surprised that Hugh is so willing to discuss many of the details of his life and background. I do feel badly for Deb, having to endure the online discussions about her husband's sexuality. There's so much vile and venom out there, and I guess it's hard to avoid the temptation to see what's being said. It has to hurt.

Just watched the Jeff Probst interview. It was lovely! Not a fan of Probst, but Hugh was delightful. Loved the length of the interview.

Obviously Hugh is promoting Wolverine, but this reporter (from Peru) also touches on Houdini, TBFO and Les Mis among other things.

I thought they only had one reading so far ( June 2012?) - it seems they may have had another one...plus he sounds so certain that it could be the "final" workshop!
Crossing my fingers!
Thanks for the link!

Supposedly a promo for Prisoners (which is only mentioned at the end) this seems mostly (redundant) about Wolverine, with a tad of Les Mis.

Hugh Jackman Talks Marriage: 'I'm One Of The Lucky Ones' It sounds unplanned, like this (female) reporter ran into him at the airport -- This article/interview is all over the place - college, Deb, marriage, kids, X-Men, Wolverine, Les Mis, Prisoners... Read more here.

Two appearances as Wolverine in X-Men-related films bolstered Hugh Jackman's earnings. When it comes to Australian entertainers, there's really only one name that matters in Hollywood and it's not Nicole, Kylie, Russell, Cate or Mel. Hugh Jackman has wiped the floor with his compatriots in BRW's annual listing of the earnings of Australia's top 50 entertainers, amassing a staggering $46.8 million in the past 12 months. See the full BRW top 50 entertainers list here Jackman's appeal is founded on his versatility, with his ability to anchor a blockbuster movie franchise (X-Men), take the stage in singing and dancing roles (The Boy from Oz, among many others) and host major ceremonies (the Oscars). Cate Blanchett in 2013's Blue Jasmine. Cate Blanchett in 2013's Blue Jasmine. By Hollywood standards his paycheque appears meagre, with Forbes magazine ranking him 29th globally for earnings among entertainers. But his payslip over the 12 months to June 30 more than doubled that of the next best-paid Australian act, The Wiggles (2nd, $18.2 million). Advertisement Jackman is among 24 actors on the list this year, up from 18 in 2012, and ahead of Cate Blanchett (3rd, $17.2 million), Russell Crowe (4th, $15.1 million) and Simon Baker (5th, $10.1 million). And while names like Alex O'Loughlin, Yvonne Strahovski and Ryan Kwanten aren't necessarily considered well-known here in Australia, their success in the world's most important – and best paying – entertainment market has helped them each post gross earnings of at least $1 million in the past 12 months. A starring role in Hawaii Five-O underpins Alex O'Loughlin's inclusion. A starring role in Hawaii Five-O underpins Alex O'Loughlin's inclusion. BRW's earnings figure is based on Jackman's work on three films: The Wolverine; X-Men: Days of Future Past; and the newly released drama, Prisoners. Most of the entertainers, like Jackman, are based overseas. Twenty-six earn most of their income in the US while another three (Elle Macpherson, Peter Andre and the Australian Pink Floyd Show) are based in the Britain. The top-ranked musician on the list is Keith Urban, who pulled in $6.8 million to rank eighth, just two place below his wife Nicole Kidman on $8.6 million. His career as a recording artist has been complemented by work on reality television. Celebrity chef Curtis Stone is the best-placed TV presenter, earning $6.4 million thanks largely to his work on US television. Veteran broadcaster Alan Jones is the highest-earning radio presenter with $4 million, equal with comedy duo Hamish Blake and Andy Lee. One of the more unusual members of this list is a tribute group. The Australian Pink Floyd Show is estimated to have pulled in gross earnings of $5 million in the past 12 months. Kate Morton is the lone author on the list with earnings of $1.5 million. Her fourth novel, The Secret Keeper, was released last year. Update from Hugh on his plans -- via the Wall Street Journal! blogs.wsj.com/speakeasy/2013/11/14/hugh-jackman-will-play-the-wolverine-again-if-the-script-is-right/?mod=e2tw"I have two things that I’m really actively working on. One is a musical about Houdini that we’ve been working on for two or three years now and hopefully we’ll make progress very soon. The other is a play which I can’t tell you about, but I really want to get back on Broadway soon. I did my one-man show here two years ago — I can’t believe it’s that long. I miss it. I’m a creature of the stage so I want to get back."Aha, so there is a possible straight play that may just come as a surprise! Maybe he is just waiting to firm up his HOUDINI schedule before he commits to a play ( maybe a limited engagement show, such as A Steady Rain)! I wonder if this is going to open in time for the TONY nomination deadline ( end-April) and ends at TONY time? He's obviously been getting itchy feet for the stage again Jo

I'm hoping it will be a Shakespeare play. Years ago he talked about wanting to do the bard with Trevor Nunn at the helm, so I wonder if that dream is still kicking around. But let the speculation begin! Intense drama? Slapstick comedy? Bio of Hugh Hefner (with bunny casting supervised by Deb)? Ellen
