His other cameo He brought some gravitas to what many considered a lackluster XMen movie! Jo

I just saw a 2019 movie called THE GOOD LIAR --
with Ian McKellan ( and Helen Mirren) --
what incredible acting from Ian! His stage gravitas showed so well.
Hope it is not too late for Hugh to be able to do a dramatic movie with him and/or Patrick Stewart.
That first XMen casting was incredible --
*Oscar winners Halle Berry and Anna Paquin *Oscar nominees Jackman/McKellen,& Paige. *Olivier ( London stage) awards for McKellen and Stewart *Tony win for Hugh Jackman *Olivier nomination for Jackman

Variety knows as much as the entire twitter universe -LOL. Hugh's reply sounds sarcastic - unless he needs a lot more persuading. Hope the stagedoor crowd at the Winter Garden before and after today's Music Man show will ask Hugh... although Hugh can also be difficult to read Jo

One thing though --
During one of the LOGAN interviews, Hugh said that he did not favor killing Logan...but Mangold persuaded him that it was the way to go.
Mangold has replied to the rumor --
Mangold's reply --

It will not upset the timeline...
I have always thought there was even another opportunity to tell the story of what happened to the mutants due to Prof X's mental ability deterioration, before and leading to Logan.
A Wolverine-Deadpool story can also happen before the Logan timeline.
What makes me skeptical is Hugh's immediate "Yeah. sure" reply...unless he has not really signed up and still awaiting storyline proposals to persuade him resurrect Wolverine. Not so long ago, he said that his "Wolverine days are over".
Maybe he could be put in the memory machine of Nick Bannister for the resurrection of Logan to work? LOL!
I will go with whatever Hugh's decision is!

Something that might persuade him to do the project -- There seems to be a continuing love for Wolverine -- even at the stagedoor of the Winter Garden, you can hear people greeting him as Wolverine. During the fundraising drive for BC/EFA, didn't Hugh use the Wolverine come-on to make people excited to contribute generously to the Broadway charity. It all started when someone handed him from the front row a pair of huge foam claws. No escaping the clamor from fans Btw, wasn't it mentioned that Shawn Levy ( who directed Real Steel and who was at the Opening Night of THE MUSIC MAN and whose daughter served as Hugh's PA for a short time for Music Man) is directing this project? Presumably it will have comedic tones ( given that Deadpool is involved) and that it will be a far cry from the tragic storyline of LOGAN. Ahhhh... Wolverine - you reinvented the comicbook/superhero genre... now people don't want to let you go Jo
