It seems that a TV appearance of Hugh Jackman, James McAvoy, and Michael Fassbender at the Graham Norton Show ( the UK TV show where Hugh sang DO YOU HEAR THE PEOPLE SING with the audience around yearend 2012) is confirmed for April 1, 2014. As Hugh and James are also promoting the movie with Virgin Trains the previous day ( March 31), the event seems part of a UK programme of promotion for the movie. There was also some buzz that Brit Nicholas Hoult ( Beast) and Jennifer Lawrence may join the group, but this is not confirmed at all. purplerose59.tumblr.com/post/80630066888/hugh-jackman-michael-fassbender-and-james-mcavoy-toEDIT :Jo

I wonder if we can get the online link for this one?
EDIT: Here's a related tweet --

Thanks. I also checked out BBC Radio1, as I had occasion to check out some links in the past. There is also a Listen Again feature that might come useful.

Two posters on the SHH forum have said they are lucky winners of the competition of VIRGIN TRAINS.
I wonder if this is one of them ...or are there multiple winners?
The affair is going to be on Monday, March 31, and includes a MEET AND GREET with Hugh and James McAvoy, plus some other train-related prizes and treats, as well as a chance to win tickets to the UK premiere of Days of Future Past ( Will Hugh also be there -- he will be conveniently filming near London at that time?).

They love Hugh across the pond smiley-love029
After all, they did discover him first, in OKLAHOMA!
If and when time allows, he really should bring over his one-man show smiley-cool13

I am hoping we can get it through this page, Ellen -- www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00rbsjg/episodes/guideIt identifies individual episodes and availability. I will check other possible links ( using my best Shirley Holmes skills!) until we can find it. Jo

VOILA!!! emoticon-cartoon-020 emoticon-cartoon-023 The impromptu song is on YouTube -- www.youtube.com/watch?v=EvRtKMxc88Q&feature=youtu.beExcept mine is on MUTE - I need to find the sound. LOL! I found the sound Hahaha -- it looks like this was a totally impromptu performance ... The tweeter Chris Cox ( see earlier tweet) must have written the lyrics and they may have asked Hugh to inaugurate the song on the spot. Hugh is such a gracious performer -- no excuses, not even if he couldn't produce the last note from the film But Wolverine did show off some vibratos giggle Jo

That just made my morning! I saw the tweet and was hoping it would get put on YouTube! I think he was caught by surprise at having to perform so early but Hugh is ever the good sport! Loved it!! Sue

Here are the lyrics, as sent through Instagram by Hugh. Addendum : "And so my friend
You see it's true
I am an XMan who isn't blue
Who am I
I am Wolverine!"The last part must have been written on another page. Another excuse to watch it again -- so I can type out the rest -LOL! Jo

You can now listen again to Hugh's appearance on the BBC Radio 1 show of Matt Edmonson -- available for 7 days. www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b03z28yzHugh joins the show at around 58'45"...and leaves at around 1:18'40". Mostly old stuff about the XMEN movies, except for -- *The clip of the musical parody of Who Am I. It is really impromptu -- he probably saw the lyrics only a few minutes before the show. Hey, try listening to the singing without the video camera -- he sounds more like Valjean singing with different lyrics - LOL! *At around 1:15'46" or thereabouts, the host asked Hugh if he could do accents ( other than American, which the host praises). Hugh tries to speak like Patrick- Stewart- meets- Downton, tries to sound like a Frenchman ( although he says he lapses to a subcontinent Indian accent), even tries the sing-song Welsh accent, and does quite a protracted impersonation of Arnold S ...His drama course did have strong emphasis on vocal training ( according to him in another interview) - I wonder if they also learned different accents? At the end, he gave a shoutout to his nephew Matt ( who lives in Windermere, in the lake district in England) - who is now 15. Could it be his birthday or he simply wants his uncle to say HI to him? Could he be the boy about the age of Oscar whom we would sometimes see with Hugh and family). Jo

The tweets keep coming -- from both men and women! Practically everyone loving the impromptu tribute to Wolverine. But this Canadian blogger takes extra note -- www.andpop.com/2014/03/29/hugh-jackman-performs-wolver-musical/ Even film sites have noted it now, with glee! Check out the reactions on the fanboy filmsite COMICBOOKMOVIE.COM -- www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/JoshWildingNewsAndReviews/news/?a=97046Amazing that the only sector that seems not to have noticed this internet surprise are the Broadway theatre boards! When this is the genre which is now falling all over itself for new theatrical show ideas related to movie heroes ( Spiderman, Rocky, etc)...LOL! Shame -- maybe those people might get to hear the parody if and when Hugh is persuaded to restyle it to be TONYs-worthy when he hosts the awards night Jo

Really funny. Thanks so much, Jo. He's game for just about anything, isn't he? Nicely sung despite the final note. I have a feeling his throat simply hadn't opened to its fullest at that time of day. That's what warm-ups are for.
