Hugh's acceptance speech. We've heard this story before, but I'll always listen again ...
Post-show interview:
(Sorry if this is redundant. I'm not following this topic closely.)

Thanks, Valerie!
He did confirm that his facial hair was for his Blackbeard look. Not sure what I heard -- but did he mention that filming will not be until a few more months ... or did he say that filming will be for 3 months?

The fangirls...and fanboys must be in XMEN heaven! This must be the YAHOO Q&A. I wonder why they are doing so much promo work in London and rather early in relation to the Memorial Weekend opening? Jo

Another promo event for early taping - the Graham Norton show in London-- According to someone from the SHH forum -- Maybe -- as it was in the GN show where Hugh sang Do You Hear the People Sing with the audience? I have also seen YT clips of Fassbender singing in public. Hmm...could MF also do a bit of Irish folk dancing ( ala Riverdance -- maybe he could teach Hugh how to do it)? Does McAvoy sing with a Scottish lilt? Another photo from the taping on the Graham Norton show -- Jo

www.youtube.com/watch?v=7aE_K9GJTTE&feature=youtu.beHugh and James at the launching of "their" train! It looks like they also renamed the last stop of Wolverhampton to Wolverine ( maybe just for the day)! I have taken several train rides from London ( to Exeter in the southwest and to Cardiff, Wales) and of course the Eurostar to Paris, but never been to one that leaves from Euston Station. I would have been grinning from ear to ear to have had the XMEN train ride Further interview -- www.youtube.com/watch?v=gLnjO6JznzESo, the last carriage in the train is really "WOLVERINE, the KABUS/CABOOSE" Jo

Two new posters released -- I know his name is supposed to be billed above the title ( based on the trailers) -- but is the solo mention of his name on both posters (he is not even in one of them) a mistake? Or is someone from the Marketing Department helping FOX court Hugh for the next Wolverine appearance? LOL! Hey, if these were erroneously printed, they could be like stamp misprinting and worth a lot ( as Collector's Items) if Fox decides to replace them. LOL again! The posters say that the movie is released on May 22 ( USA release is May 23) -- that date is for the UK (where there seems to be a lot of promotion going on) and Australia ( hey, it's the favorite Boy from Oz!) and some other international markets ( including us in the Philippines). LOL - maybe Hugh is really very popular overseas Or... since it seems Hugh's contract secured the above-the-title billing, does this mean that any mention of the title must carry his name above it in all promotional materials and official releases? Kind of like when a director's name is mentioned above the title ( such as A Film by Darren Aronofsky)? This is causing another level of controversy, especially among those fans who "hate" the focus on Wolverine in all the films ( even in that celebrated cameo in First Class). Jo

It seems that new posters were released probably for domestic USA consumption because the release date is now May 23! No "Hugh Jackman" above-the-title highlight this time Some sites have indicated that Empire (from the UK) released the posters with the Jackman highlight while ( US ticket seller) was supposed to have released the poster without any cast name. *Either this was deliberate on the marketing side -- because the relatively nondescript posters are now generating controversy ( aka being talked about) -- or was this simply an error on Empire's side? *Lol- will they continue to distribute the ones with Hugh's name-only highlight -- they are collector's items now! Just like the Paquin Empire cover, if Anna has been really edited from any scenes from the movie

There seems to be an explosion of promotional materials now -- supposedly nine new posters were released!! I wonder - could these just be screencaps glorified as promotional material ( and for sale??) Still dominated by Wolverine www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/MarvelFreshman/news/?a=97451But.this.one.is.superawesome emoticon-cartoon-020 There are five other posters with Wolvie on them --- but I don't want anything else competing with that awesome poster above Jo

Begging everyone's indulgence for this poor attempt
Who are you? You're a superhero with class and claws Not just an actor searching for applause
You're the star of stage and film Who else can fuse Valjean and Wolverine? You're a Keller and an Aussie Drover Magician, fighting Dad, and conquistador
You're our Boy from Oz, Gaston, and Joe G. A Denny to Joey, a Curly to Laurey Triple threat on many world stages Gracious with media, fans, and the "razzi"
A person we all admire and aspire to be Family, your art, social advocacies Are life's priorities with you How can a man be so caring and true
And that's who you are!
PS : For reading only, no singing to Who Am I

The BBC Radio 1 DJ's who thought of asking Hugh to sing their parody composition are rejoicing (did they get a bonus from BBC?) --
